However, we quickly realised that these tools were not adapted. We've noticed a lot of missing vocabulary in standard dictionary and translation apps. In addition, Sewing requires precision and the language interpretation of sewing terms in another language can be misleading. That's why we've focused on the quality of the translation and we developped this free app with professional seamstresses and designers. Is this app for professional seamstresses only? This sewing translator app can be used by all professionnal and amateur seamstresses, dressmakers or designers. As a professional, this tool can help you to translate or correct your new pattern from French to English or English to French. As an amateur, this dictionary can help you understand or translate unknown sewing terms not to waste time. it will help you avoid mistakes when you sew your beautiful fabric. With the page "My Favorites", this app will become your digital sewing word sheet, always in your pocket. What does this app contain? This bilingual dictionary application contains 500+ sewing words translated from English to French and from French to English. A majority of the words already have a definition. We are currently working on adding more translated terms and definitions. In addition, you do have a form in the app to suggest new words to us. What can I do when I've found my word? Once you've found the word translations and definitions you were looking for, you can save them for future reference (see favourite words page). You also have the option to copy your word to the clipboard for easy access and share via other applications in your phone. What if I don't find my word? This app already contains 500+ sewing terms translated. However, if you don't find the word you need, you can contact us for word suggestions. There is a form page within the app to do so.
