## What is SeymourPills?

SeymourPills is a private pill reminder and pill counter that runs on your device. The app never sends your medicines, your doses, or your schedule on its own - they stay on your device unless you choose otherwise: turning on iCloud sync, or sharing them in Feedback. No account, no ads, no tracking.

SCAN A BOTTLE TO SET IT UP
Point your camera at a prescription bottle and SeymourPills reads the name, strength, quantity, and directions, then sets up your reminder and pill count for you. Aim at the barcode on a vitamin or supplement and it fills in the product for you. You confirm every detail on a big, clear screen before anything is saved. It all happens on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.

REMINDERS THAT RESPECT YOU
Set the times you take each medicine and get a gentle reminder. Reminders are grouped by time of day, so 8am is one notification listing everything due then, not a pile of buzzes. Pause reminders anytime without losing your schedule.

A PILL COUNTER THAT KNOWS WHEN TO REFILL
Every time you tap Taken, your count goes down. SeymourPills estimates how many days you have left and tells you when it is time to refill - before you run out, not after. Record a refill in one tap.

SYNC ACROSS YOUR DEVICES (ADVANCED)
Turn on sync and a dose taken on one device shows up on your others, usually within moments and sometimes later, whenever both can reach iCloud. And it doesn't skip a beat when you get a new device - your medicines, your counts, and your history are already there. Sync is off until you turn it on, and it uses your own private iCloud: your medicines go to your Apple account, never to us.

VERBATIM FDA LABEL LOOKUPS (ADVANCED)
Unlock the Advanced tools, one time, and search your own medicines for a symptom you feel, see which side effects your medicines share, and read the FDA's most serious "black box" warnings - always as the exact words from the FDA label, never our interpretation. Show a doctor or nurse a clean view of your current medicines with Appointment Mode.

The FDA and NIH label information that powers scanning, symptom lookup, and the warning checks used to download separately the first time you needed it. It is now built into SeymourPills. Nothing to fetch, nothing to approve, no waiting - it works from the moment you install, even with no signal at all.

That makes the app a larger download than before. In exchange, every part of it that reads a drug label works on a plane, in a basement, or on a phone with no data plan.

If a medicine is running low, SeymourPills can now take you straight to its page on the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company website, so you can check a cash price before you refill. The app never shows a price itself - their site is the source of truth - and the link goes to the exact medicine, not a search page.

Also new:

- Tap a medicine's name on Today to edit it right there.
- Larger text sizes are respected in more places.
- The reference database now downloads when you first tap Scan, so setup is quicker.
- Doses you've taken clear from Today immediately, even one carried over from yesterday.
