## What is Sfir?

Sfir connects you with users in your neighborhood, or your surroundings when travelling. With Sfir you send out messages with our unique hyperlocal function, giving you so many new options for exciting social media functions. (see examples at Sfir.ca)
Most importantly, Sfir is ethical. We know it’s you, the users who create the value in a social media platform, so we are going to reward you for your value-creating activity by giving you gifts from local shops and re-investing in your communities. 

Sfir has all the basic social media functionality (timeline,, adding friends), but with Sfir you can also:
