More like 30 feet. ### 1/5 — Not worth it!! *2021-12-08* When I really needed it didn’t work...when I found it I had to press the button to turn it on..that’s when it connected it to the app. I’ll buy one from another brand..this one is a waste of money. ### 1/5 — Stopped working *2021-07-21, version 1.0.2* Was good when I first got it but then it stopped working. Changed battery, ever since, when I open the app it goes bonkers. Lights flashing, beeping, music, all the bells and whistles. The problem is, nothing happens on the receiver. ### 1/5 — Not useful for finding my keys *2021-05-31* My wife was tired of me frantically running around the house trying to find my keys when I was late to work or an appointment so she picked up one of these for me as a Christmas gift the year before last. I dutifully placed it on my keychain and set it up then promptly forgot about it as I have not lost my keys once since then. Well today when I was organizing the office I stumbled upon the package and I decided I should check it out to see if it is still functioning. Well after 2 years of no use it appears the battery is now dead and I have no idea how long as there was no warning. So I replaced the battery with the extra that was generously included in the package. I then launched the app and gave it a test run and alas, the beeper on it doesn't make any sound. This now will become a frustrating game of getting hotter/getting colder if I ever need to try to find my keys. And if I’m late to work or appointment that is exactly what I don’t need to be doing. My recommendation is to skip this high tech solution (sic) and purchase a key rack or bowl instead that you just get used to ALLWAYS using for your keys as soon as you get in the house. ### 1/5 — JUNK *2021-05-22, version 1.0.2* The worst tracker ever. Not worth it ### 1/5 — Garbage *2021-01-08* Got these so my wife won’t lose her keys anymore. Feedback on the tracker lags horribly and not real-time. Walking away from the tile only 10 feet, it’ll read 99% and only start going down slowly after 10 seconds or so. Walking back right next to the tile, the reading will not climb from 80 % to 99% again in over 10 seconds. Completely pointless! You’d have to walk at a snails pace to make this practical. Absurd was of money ### 1/5 — Not accurate *2021-01-01* I just purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend that’s always losing her car keys. After noticing the seal looked broken, I decided to check the box and make sure all the contents were included. Which led to further investigation. All instructions were in German even though the outside of the box were printed in English. I downloaded the App and gave it a try, it’s not accurate at all. No way one would locate keys within your home. I have a rather large home and it’s got my location all the way outside on the other end of my home. Ridiculous! It does not help you actually locate your things. Never was a great product to start with because really only works if you are super close to either your phone and/or device. And the photo option sucked, but now the app dosent even open at all just keep crashing before you can do anything including finding the dam device. In the end, I cant find my keys because this trash isn't working properly. Another reason why I prefer apple products! Going back to using a foolproof device and app. Apple Airtag wins the race! ### 1/5 — Annoying *2022-12-28* I walk a certain feet away from my keys and the alarm would go off, I’m not carrying my keys wherever I go so this thing won’t go off! I turned on silent mode so it wouldn’t go off again but silent mode turned it self off and kept going. To test I walk 5 ft away the app slowly goes from 100% to around 50-60% then I move next to it and won’t update the location to 90-100% until after 2-5 minutes later which is ridiculous. I wonder if someone makes something similar, that works. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 4/5 — Life Saving! *2018-03-04* It's the gift that keeps on giving I've lost track of how many times that my smartgear tracker helped save me from being late to school, work, or anywhere. I can always find my keys no matter what! I would rate it 5 stars but there is only one downside with this app... if it's not open ( running in the background) then you can't trigger the alarm to find your phone , other then that it's a must have! ### 3/5 — Cool! But… *2021-12-25* When I close the app on my phone it always alerts my keys to go off, even when I’m not intending to look for them but now I have to get up to turn it off. Also, when I open the app it ask for GPS tracking “allow once”, “allow while using app”, or “don’t allow”. Where is the “always allow”!? So after that point it doesn’t work unless I leave the app open on my phone all the time. Fix those 2 things and I’d be happy, otherwise I should return it. I think it only flashes my camera flash when I’m literally looking at the app. When I close my phone the flashing stops and doesn’t flash until I open my phone to look at the app… ### 3/5 — This is app is ok... *2020-06-19* My parents take my phone away a lot so i got a tracker and would use my backup phone to find it. If you’re not on the app it will disconnect the tracker. If you aren’t within the same room of the tracker it won’t connect. It’s not the best but i find my phone either way. I wouldn’t get this if you are looking to finding something far away because it’s not that efficient. ### 3/5 — Find Fab works great BUT find phone needs app running all the time!! *2019-12-31* This works great to find keys or whatever the fab is attached to. Product says 150ft Bluetooth range....more like 15ft. If you have the keychain in your hand next to the phone, it will read about 99%, which is great. But I can put it in my pocket and it will drop in the 60’s. It will not stay connected from one room to the next. If you lose your keys or whatever you put this thing on, it’s doubtful you will ever find them. And the gps tracker only seems to show you the last spot your phone was connected to the device.
