## What is Sha Puzz?

Made for people who love puzzles.
You draw the shapes with your finger and complete the combination.
The rules take a minute to learn. Mastering them takes a good deal longer.
And every board you finish brings color back to a sleeping ruin.

Meet the four-year-old in charge

Sha is four. Her distant big sister is a family legend — and, in fact, an archaeologist.
Sha misheard the job, and picked her own career on the spot.
But the screen says otherwise. Every puzzle you solve brings color back to a faded ruin and wakes the jungle.
Sha never notices. Not once. You're the one companion who sees what's really going on.

Draw with your finger, make it fit

Each puzzle gives you only a few shapes (polyominoes) — usually two or three.
Swipe to draw a region. It has to match one of those shapes exactly — rotated or flipped is fine.
Get the right shape in the right place and the region seals. That click is what the game is for.

No one tells you when you're wrong

A shape in the wrong place colors in just like a right one. Filled the board and it didn't end? Something is off.
Working out what's wrong, and what's right, is up to you. There's only one solution.
Every board has its own difficulty, 1 to 4, measured board by board.

Get it all right, and it pays out at once

Fill the whole board correctly and you get one celebration, with the score counted up at once.
Score carries across boards. How long you keep a run going is its own kind of win.
The only rival is yesterday's you.

It keeps getting steeper

• Pieces run from 3 to 7 cells; the combinations deepen as you go
• The first 9 boards hold your hand through the controls and rules. After that, you're on your own
• Boss and rule boards run a clock, scaled to their size

Three stars aren't the end of it

After the first nine boards, most boards you've cleared reopen as bonus ruins — same board, but the parts you get right melt away.
Clear one with three stars and a treasure chest appears — once per board. Boards you've already looted show an open chest on the map.
Sha isn't a tour guide — Sha leans over the board next to you, taking full credit for everything you solve.

Fair warning

A wrong answer never costs a heart. With nowhere left to place a piece, a shield clears only the wrong pieces. On boards with a clock, run it out and you choose: watch an ad to refill it (once per board), or spend a heart to start over.
Hints are there for when you're stuck. They're not free: hints cost Coins.
We could have made it easier. We chose to protect the feeling of solving it yourself.
A board takes a few minutes. Your head will be busy for all of them.

This is for you if

• You want a puzzle that works in a way you haven't played before
• You'd rather not read instructions, but you do like getting good
• You've said "one more board" and meant it, twice

Offline play

The core puzzles work without an internet connection.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.7 — 2026-10-03

• Learning boards now have a background, and "Learn ●●○" shows how many are left
• Finish a ruin and you'll see "Ruin complete!" on the result card
• Wrong pieces are no longer flagged right away. They color in like right ones, so reason it out to the end
• Fill the whole board correctly for one celebration and your score at once
• Mistakes no longer cost a heart (hearts are only used to start over)
• Nowhere left to place a piece? Use a shield to clear only the wrong pieces
• Combos now carry on only in bonus boards
• Difficulty ratings were redone for the new rules
• Clear a board and your shapes pop one by one, in the order you drew them
• The score is now shown big (the chase bar underneath is gone)
• Tap the score during play to see where everyone is
• The Overtake! scene is back when you pass a rival
• Bonus boards now come every 5 boards
• Sha on the map is smaller, so the screen feels roomier

### 1.4.4 — 2026-09-28

• A new map: one card for your current zone and a big continue button, instead of a long list
• A new board opens every day
• Your first hint and first answer reveal are free, with no star penalty, so you can try them
• Clearing a board plays a different phrase each time, and the fireworks carry on phone speakers
• Shop, badges, settings and help now share the map music
• Your device language sits at the top of the language list
• The title screen now waits for the loading bar to finish

### 1.4.3 — 2026-09-27

• Easier first steps: tips now stay pinned over the board and tell you that a tap moves on
• Tips used to vanish in 0.2 seconds; they now stay for 4.4 seconds, long enough to read
• On boards 4 to 10 the top bar goes quiet so the board holds your attention
• When a shape lands in the wrong place, the game says what went wrong
• Rebuilt board four
• Now in 12 languages: Chinese (Traditional), Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian, Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese are new
• Tutorials 1 to 3 teach on the real board, with no explainer first
• Hearts now go up to ten
• Hints come in two steps: the shape marker alone costs half, and boards 4 to 10 show it
• Come back after a while and the game tells you who passed you
• Fixed two tips overlapping on board seven; the raider notice waits a board when a tip is up

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-25

• Hearts now go up to five
• Through board ten a wrong move costs nothing; after that it costs a heart
• Fewer steps before you start: the terms are asked after your eighth board
• The secret note is now Reveal Answer: it shows the region borders, but that board pays no score or coins
• Background music is off on ordinary boards; the boss jungle guitar stays
• The choice windows are now cards: out of time, swap board, start over, hint
• Rebuilt the bonus clear effect so it runs smoother
• A short quote greets you once a day when you open the app
• Fixed the hint pointing at a different shape than the guide had drawn

### 1.3.8 — 2026-09-23

• A bonus board now comes around every third board, in the order you left them
• Clearing a bonus or boss board plays as a scene: tiles gather into the title
• Finishing the tutorial now ends with its own little scene
• Early boards take fewer strokes, and tutorial 3 uses a shape you already learned
• Background music is off on ordinary boards; the boss jungle guitar stays
• The choice windows are now cards: out of time, swap board, start over, hint
• The raider notice now appears every four or five boards
• The score row points to where the rankings live
• On slower phones the thinking shimmer turns off as intended, and vibration is back where it belongs
