## What is Shadowfetch?

Shadowfetch keeps important dates visible, whether you are counting down to something ahead or counting up from something that already happened.

Add a birthday, anniversary, trip, launch, deadline, ceremony, or personal streak. Shadowfetch sorts it, counts it live, helps you protect it with reminders, and gives you clean exports when you need a backup or handoff.

Core features:

- Count down to future dates with live days, hours, minutes, seconds, and milliseconds
- Count up from past dates for anniversaries, sobriety streaks, product launches, and milestones
- Pin a priority event so it leads the home screen and widget
- See a Countdown Progress bar showing how far through the wait you are
- Organize events by category: Birthday, Anniversary, Travel, Health, Deadline, Celebration, Milestone, Sports, Holiday, or Other
- Create one-time, yearly, or monthly countdowns

Shadowfetch is local-first. It does not require an account, does not include analytics or tracking, and does not upload your event data to a Shadowfetch-operated server.

MOMENTS (NEW IN 1.7)
Every other countdown app dies at zero - Shadowfetch makes zero the whole point. Events glow TODAY when the day arrives, erupt into confetti in their own color at the exact moment, and then retire to a Memories shelf that keeps the story alive: "127 days ago." One tap turns a finished moment into a count-up ("days since our wedding") or a yearly tradition. Anticipation, celebration, memory - all offline, all yours.

MOMENTS (NEW) - every countdown now has a whole lifecycle:
- TOMORROW and TODAY badges as the day approaches, with a glowing hero card
- The Moment: watch the countdown tick to zero and erupt into confetti in your event's own color - "You counted down 214 days for this."
- Memories: finished events become a keepsake shelf ("127 days ago") instead of a dead Completed row
- One-tap rebirth: keep counting up since the big day, or celebrate it every year
- The widget says TODAY and "It's here" at the right times, and What's Coming rows now open the event

Plus eve-of and at-the-moment pings for events with milestone alerts, smarter monthly recurrence on the 29th-31st, and leap-day anniversaries that celebrate on the real Feb 29.

Shadowfetch 1.6 adds a practical review and export layer for people who keep many important dates in the app.

What's New in Shadowfetch 1.5

Pin Events to the Top
Star any event as "pinned" and it floats to the top of the home screen above all other countdowns - permanently, not just for the current session. Pinned events also take priority in the home-screen and lock-screen widget, so the countdown you care about most is always the one you see. Pin and unpin in a single tap from the event's detail screen, from the overflow menu (), or from a long-press context menu on the card. A pin icon on the card confirms the status at a glance.

Countdown Progress Bar
The event detail screen now shows a "Countdown Progress" bar for countdown-mode events. It fills from 0% (the day you added the event) to 100% (arrival), so you can see at a glance how far through the wait you are - not just how many days remain. The bar updates live as time passes and works for both one-time and recurring events.

Milestones: every event becomes a timeline of meaningful moments — countdowns surface waypoints like '100 days to go' and '1 month out', and count-ups celebrate anniversaries. Plus stability improvements.
