## What is ShadowTag?

Your prices, on real stickers, from the phone in your pocket.

ShadowTag turns your trading-card inventory into professional price labels—without rebuilding your collection or surrendering control of your prices. Import your file, choose your pricing rules, customize your label, and print an entire show from your iPhone.

YOUR PRICES. YOUR RULES.
• Your imported price is the price. ShadowTag does not second-guess it.
• Pin any price so it stays exactly where you set it.
• Build pricing bands for different value ranges.
• Round to clean dollars, odd-dollar prices, even-dollar prices, or add your own bump.

PRINT WITH CONFIDENCE
• Select individual cards or print a full batch.
• Quantities create the correct number of physical labels.
• Pause and resume printing without losing your place.
• Follow real sticker progress in the app and Dynamic Island.
• Interrupted labels remain queued instead of being silently marked as printed.
• Print through compatible Bluetooth thermal label printers.

MAKE EVERY LABEL YOURS
• Add the card name, your own text, logo, and QR code.
• Preview the finished label before printing.
• Keep a consistent, professional look across your entire booth.

KNOW WHAT NEEDS PRINTING
ShadowTag remembers your labels and separates new, changed, and previously printed cards, so you can update stale prices without reprinting everything.

BRING YOUR INVENTORY WITH YOU
Import compatible files from Collectr, Shiny, TCGplayer, and common spreadsheet formats. ShadowTag handles singles, graded cards, sealed products, quantities, and individual copies.

SHADOWSNAP + SHADOWTAG
Send scanned cards directly from ShadowSnap into ShadowTag, ready to price and print. Scan it. Price it. Print it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your inventory stays on your device. ShadowTag does not require an account and does not collect your personal data.

Third-party product names are trademarks of their respective owners. ShadowTag is not affiliated with or endorsed by Collectr, Shiny, or TCGplayer.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-26

No more codes. ShadowTag opens straight into your inventory — nothing to enter, no account to make, and nobody to DM at midnight asking for one.

PRICING MODEL, REBUILT
Every rule is its own row now, with its setting sitting in plain sight instead of buried in a sentence. And there's a live preview on top: type a price, watch the label price move. You'll know what a rule does before you print forty of them.

New: round up or down, then add or subtract a fixed amount. Round up to the nearest $5 and knock a dollar off, if that's how your table prices. All four combinations, no fine print.

PRINTERS:
• NIIMBOT D11 — the D11 comes in two versions that have to be driven differently, and ShadowTag assumed everyone had the newer one. On the other kind a label would print and then the app would stall. It now recognizes which one you've connected, with nothing to set up.
• Nelko P21 — printers that connected but wouldn't print now do. ShadowTag tries every way your printer might be listening instead of just one.
• Printer problems now explain themselves, instead of timing out and blaming the printer.

Run out of tape mid-batch and ShadowTag says so, points you at the roll that fits your printer, and holds your place in the queue. Load, tap Resume, carry on.

Don't own a printer yet? There are two on the printer screen that work out of the box, starting under $17.

Thanks to the vendors testing on printers we don't own. Keep it coming.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-25

ShadowTag 1.2 makes printing batches more dependable and easier to follow.
• More reliable Bluetooth printing, with improved recovery when returning to the app
• Clearer batch progress, including the current label number and improved pause/stop controls
• Live Activity updates stay in sync with your print job
• Card numbers remain visible on labels with long card names
• Improved inventory counts, selection, search, and sorting behavior
• Faster, more reliable imports—including CSVs created on Windows
• Refined pricing controls and a more polished welcome experience
• General performance improvements and bug fixes

### 1.1 — 2026-08-21

Printing you can trust.

• Fixed duplicate and incorrect label counts when the same card has multiple finishes, such as regular and Reverse Holo.
• Bluetooth printing now waits for the printer’s complete response. Interrupted prints remain queued and display a clear troubleshooting message instead of being silently marked as printed.
• Turning Bluetooth off mid-print is handled gracefully, with every unprinted label kept safely in the queue.
• Progress now counts physical stickers—including multiple copies—and stays accurate in the app and Dynamic Island after pausing, resuming, or relaunching.
• Deleted or re-imported cards are removed from paused queues, preventing old prices from printing later.
• Pinned prices now stay pinned between launches.
• Faster background saving and catalog loading make large inventories smoother.
• Added even-dollar pricing, improved quantity badges and sorting icons, confirmation before bulk deletion, stronger activation-code protection, and better Windows CSV imports.
