The volume only goes up so high so it's easy to sleep through. Also when you shake you have to continuously shake. Once you stop you have u start all over. Trust me when I say this that you have to SHAKE to get it to stop beeping. By the time I have had enough shaking and went to settings to turn it off I was way to grumpy to start this Monday happy.
