## What is Shalemli?

Shalemli is a private expense ledger for sharing money with people you actually trust — your partner, a roommate, parents, kids, a group of friends with a recurring split, or just yourself.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Sign in with your phone number — verified by SMS.
• Open a channel with one person, or invite a small group.
• When one of you pays for something shared in the real world, log it. The other side gets a notification and approves or declines.
• The running balance updates ONLY after approval — so the number is always one everyone agreed on.
• Settled outside the app? Mark the balance as settled inside Shalemli to keep the ledger honest. 
Cash, bank transfer, payment apps — Shalemli doesn't move money, it just keeps the score.

THREE WAYS TO USE IT
• ONE-ON-ONE — split the rent with a roommate, run a fair "who paid last time" with a partner, settle a long tab with a parent.
• GROUPS — split a vacation, a household, or a recurring outing across 3 or more people. The group leader sees the math; everyone sees their share.
• PERSONAL TAB — track your own running expenses against a place or person (the corner shop, a babysitter, a coffee tab) and close the cycle when you pay it off.

PRIVACY
Everything is linked to your phone number. No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party sharing. 
Receipts stay inside your channel and only the people in that channel can see them. 
Export every record to JSON or delete your account from Settings any time.

DESIGNED FOR HEBREW AND ENGLISH
Full right-to-left Hebrew with shekel formatting. Switch languages in Settings; the data is the same.

• Improved Archive: move items into your own "Deleted items" list and restore them anytime — and closed groups now show up in the Archive too.
• Profile and group photos update everywhere right away.
• Readability improvements, more complete Hebrew translations, and bug fixes.
