## What is Shamrocks Solitaire?

Shamrocks Solitaire is a classic solitaire game with the no nonsense MmpApps card game interface.

The cards are dealt onto the tableau in 17 stacks of 3 cards each and one stack of 1 card. The 17 stacks of 3 are no doubt related to March 17th which is Saint Patricks day symbolized the world over by the Shamrock.

Cards may be stacked up or down by rank in any suit but the trick is that they can never be stacked more than 3 cards high.

In addition to the classic game we have also created a relaxed version that makes the game easier to win and quite a lot more fun.

The entire app with both versions of the game is free with no in-app purchase.

This app is fun if you like brain teasers. It isn’t based purely on luck like some other solitaires, but requires strategy.
The scoring system is completely mysterious. Sometimes you get a high score on an easy-to-solve game and other times you spend double time on a tricky one and get a lower score even if you win. Also, you often see two scores, and there’s no way to figure out which is the one being added to your cumulative average.
