The biggest ShamsiPlus update yet: a redesigned interface, a new Persian date converter, faster event search, and more reliable reminders. ■ A fresh design • Redesigned home and month views — today's, upcoming, and past events in one place. • A new day-details sheet, with copy and share for any date and its events. • A year view summarising each month's holidays and personal events. • Settings rebuilt from scratch, with a live calendar preview and quick theme and colour picking. ■ Date converter (new) Convert Shamsi (Jalali) to Gregorian and back instantly, see how far any date is from today in years, months and days, then copy, share, or open it in the calendar. ■ Better event search Results grouped and counted by month, with suggestions for Nowruz, Yalda, Mehregan and Chaharshanbe Suri, plus category filters. ■ Events and reminders • A simpler editor: title, notes, date, time, repeat, and calendar display. • Multiple reminders per event, from the event time up to a week ahead, or a time you choose. • Repeating reminders refresh in the background, so they keep firing even if you don't open the app. • Pick the colour of your own events and mark any day as a holiday. ■ New events Events whose date moves each year are now calculated automatically: Chaharshanbe Suri, the Ardehal carpet-washing ceremony, Neighbours Day, World Philosophy Day, World Maritime Day, World Leprosy Day, Programmers' Day and Black Friday. Shamsi, Hijri, Gregorian and Ancient Iranian events were all reviewed. ■ Make the calendar yours Choose the day your week starts on, and your weekend days — more than one if you like. ■ Widgets and Apple Watch Widgets load faster, support the tinted Home Screen style, and follow your text-size setting. Apple Watch now shows the calculated events too, and event sync is far more reliable. ■ Accessibility and stability VoiceOver reads calendar days and widgets properly.
