Loads of customization and fonts. It does tend to put the same word directly next to itself which looks bad and the exports have a framed line boarder which doesn’t work well for importing into to other projects outside of this app. Additionally whatever methodology they are using for transparency, it does not come out well and does not port out correctly to other imaging software. Still, it’s an almost perfect app. Love it. ### 4/5 — Great app *2024-05-21* Easy to use with clean interface. Loads of customization and fonts. It would be nice if you could create a rectangle based on pixel size for height and width. It could also benefit from a better font shuffle. This way you could pick the fonts you like then you could cycle the visual results until you find the pleasing pattern/look you desire. It does tend to put the same word directly next to itself which looks bad and the exports have a framed line boarder which doesn’t work well for importing into to other projects outside of this app. Still, it’s an almost perfect app. Love it. ### 4/5 — Great app *2024-05-18* Easy to use with clean interface. Loads of customization and fonts. The only down side is no Instagram or facebook stories pre-sized template shapes. You can try to upload one online, but it’s cumbersome and leaves thin line edges around the outside circumference of whatever you import. It would be much better if you could create a rectangle based on pixel size for height and width. One of the features I really need is to be able to import my own shapes (e.g. because a portrait rectangle is not included in the palette and I really need one!). But no matter how I try to do this, the app crashes. I have tried pasting from clipboard, having created shapes in various apps - it crashes unless you invert the colour, and even then a portrait rectangle posts as a square. I have tried creating from photo - again, the app just crashes. I emailed the help email address two days ago and have had no reply. There are great features here, but this is an unacceptable level of bugginess and it makes the app unfit for my purpose. Would love to have been able to give a much better rating! ### 3/5 — READ BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD! *2021-09-15* First: there are only 8 free shapes!! If there’s gonna only be 8 free shapes you might as well not make them things like cookies and stuff. Why not make the free ones circles and other shapes? Cuz if someone wants to make a simple circle word cloud, they have to pay for it! Second: Why can’t you make certain words bigger? What if you’re doing a word cloud about what you like, and you REALLY like dogs, so you want to make the word dog bigger? How would you be able to tell whoever sees the word cloud that you REALLY like dogs? This app is kind off okay. If you don’t improve I might make it a ONE STAR REVIEW. Also z.B. einzelne Wörter in Schriftart, Größe etc. editieren und vor allem verschieben kann. I opened a document, deleted the existing text and added mind in. Saved the result but the cloud still,uses the old text. Words appear different sizes even when you click “by frequency” each word appears once. Word frequency doesn’t work. Same words appear big no Matter what. Can’t get all words to appear the same size. Doesn’t recognise spaces. However you can’t resize your shapes meaning adding pivot words isn’t always possible and borders are sometimes none existent which is frustrating when framing. Also any shapes that are letters are often misshapen when you come to print. If your using basic images and happy to do so it’s pretty decent. I have asked for these fixes and despite promises it doesn’t appear to have happened. Help from developers ### 5/5 — Tolle App ICloud-Sync AI Export und Layer in Photoshop wünschenswert *2020-03-04* Der Titel sagt schon alles. Tolle App. Import eigener Shapes und Fonts klappt gut. Schön wäre es wenn das App-weit und nicht nur für eine Cloud möglich wäre. Schön wäre eine Option, das jedes Wort in einer einfachen Shape nur einmal vorkommen soll. Wirklich wichtig wäre aber eine iCloud Synchronisation. Über PDF lässt sich Vektor exportieren daher wäre Illustrator Export ein Sahnehäubchen. Layer in Photoshop wären da wichtiger. Ich hoffe - das letzte Update war vor einem Jahr- die Entwickler bleiben dran. Ach so, 22€ für die vollumfängliche Version ist kein Schnäppchen aber angemessen vor allem wenn die App weiterentwickelt wird. Ein Hinweis noch, bei einzelnen Fonts kann es in Relation zu deren Formkomplexität zu sehr langen Aufbauzeiten kommen. Super easy to do, but I want to make the shape a specific size and shape and can’t figure out how to do it. Want to make it a 16 x 20 rectangle. Is there a way to do so?
