## What is Shardgrid?

Shardgrid is a private mosaic planner for artists, installers, and workshop makers who need numbers before spreading adhesive.

Define the field and optional border, enter the actual tessera size and joint, compare layout counts, add a user-controlled cutting and breakage reserve, reconcile palette stock, and build a quote from material and labor inputs. A geometric canvas makes the plan legible without pretending to replace a full CAD package.
