But the paid subscription is absolutely bad. It just dosent save the prices. You input the price you can see it when selecting the 3 dots on the product, but when you select the product wipes of the price. I am so disappointed with the new app. We add products now and they disappear. Products do not sync with my husband's app and disappear before we remove them. ### 1/5 — Very poor update *2026-05-29, version 5.8.0* It used to be possible to add items accurately and very quickly by typing the first few letters of a word and selecting a displayed option. The new update causes partial entries to be made unless you type out each item in full or select the item from a long table which is equally slow. As a result I have given up and stopped using it. ### 2/5 — Updates have ruined it *2026-05-09, version 5.6.0* This used to be a really simple and very useable app, not a few weeks ago they updated it and ruined almost all of the worthwhile functionality. Products now appear in wrong categories, items you add disappear or have been removed from the directory, the process for ticking items off is now animated and slow. A real shame as this used to be so useful but now it’s just another over designed app that doesn’t do the most basic functionality. ### 1/5 — Vibecoded trash deletes items from my list! *2026-05-09, version 5.6.0* Worse than useless after the updates. Deletes items from my list when I try to add new ones on the bottom, making me forget what was meant to be on there. Test changes before you release, please… ### 1/5 — Poor app following recent update *2026-05-07, version 5.6.0* My husband and I have been using this app for years on the subscription and it’s been fantastic. We’ve been able to use it with ease no issues. However the recent update (April 2026) is shocking. The keyboard is slow and unresponsive, we can’t get it to sync between our phones anymore and the last time I used it, it deleted my entire shopping list. I’ve no idea why the developers have changed it. Bring back the old version! Don’t fix what isn’t broken! If you want to share a list you all need to pay for the premium service. Plenty of other shopping list apps out there for FREE you just need to look. ### 2/5 — Was great - update changed to much *2026-05-03, version 5.5.0* Used this app for years - was ideal, could edit sections and groups and create your own. Recent update looks totally different and cannot find how to edit and create new categories. Used it and found items missing that put on and groupings were not right and had to move things. The sharing the list option used to be free of charge. Following latest update if you want to share the list you have to pay subscription. I used to be able to have three lists without subscribing, I deleted one to create a new one and can’t without the subscription, I’m deleting the app and going with a different one that is much more user friendly. It defaults to opening all lists every time, even though I only routinely use 1. There are also a load of lines on the list screen that keep building up and can’t be deleted. Can’t navigate it. Has become confusing. Why change it? So, as a result, I am going to uninstall this app and download Listonic instead. Sorry, Shopping Uk 😞 ### 1/5 — Sync/Sharing stinks *2026-04-27, version 5.3.0* Not having iCloud sync means I’ll never use this even though in every other respect it is a fine app. The current sync/share system is unreliable and I find I have to reinvite to share my lists with my other devices. It’s clunky and jumpy, everything is harder and it’s just worse in every possible sense. Whoever designed the update woke up and thought ‘how can we make a shopping experience even less enjoyable’ and they really succeeded. Now with the new update, items disappear from the list, sometimes random ones pop up, the order of items jumble up randomly so it’s hard to keep track of things. My review: This has been my trusted app for many years and after the recent redesign and updates releases in recent months, it is all but unusable: items disappear randomly…items get duplicated and some items just appear out of nowhere!! As long as you’ve got your phone, whoever ends up at the supermarket knows what to get. Now to be able to share the list you have to pay for it? Totally defeats the point. Going elsewhere to look for an app that has the features we need for free. If it was paid for originally I would have considered it years ago at the time, but making a function that is so so useful only suitable for premium accounts is so money-grabbing I don’t want to give in and pay. Its latest upgrade is awful. Every time you open the app you get a new list rather than the default ‘shared’ list so we finish up with lists that we can’t share. You have to actively delete non-shared lists to get back to the original. Update 26th March 2026. Disappointed with recent update fiddlier than it was, customer support do not reply to email questions. Creating a list and adding to it later creates lines which us irritating and not needed. Earlier app it was easy to return to planning add items then shop, now it’s fiddlier to get there.
