I wish they would have an option to scan document to pdf file, add option. And in multiple pages. What if my client wants to scan multiple page document? They have to scan many pages and upload individually... What a pain... Also files not always synced between users... And lately the outlook plugin that has historically been stable sometimes works sometimes doesn't work... Sad... That is one of the most used tools... ### 5/5 — Citrix sharefile *2025-01-20* Superb collaborative tool. We are paperless fo 20 years using Citrix on PCs, laptops, iPhones, iPads. It allows us to work in teams with perfect granularity with rights to view,print, forward all the way to the file level. May be 400 people work at the same time on 100 folders. We also built a private ChatGPT on Citrix by the name of Concilium. In fact, it has become a massive competitive advantage. We also use sharepoint but for certain products we prefer Citrix, while easy to scale. So we are a big fan. ### 5/5 — Work made easy *2025-01-07, version 24.9.0* So far ShareFile has not let me down. Whether mobile or desktop, it is an easy active part of my work day. It’s like having an unlimited hard-drive that monitors revision control. ### 5/5 — Sharefile is Outstanding *2024-10-26, version 24.9.0* I really don’t understand what the negative review are about. This is a much more advanced and secure alternative to Dropbox and it does more. ### 1/5 — Antiquated, unstable app *2024-07-15, version 24.7.0* Look elsewhere. The only thing Sharefile has going for it is that it’s cheap. But it’s a subpar service that is very basic and lacking in features more modern systems have. The iOS and iPadOS apps (not to mention the MacOS app) are extremely unstable and crash numerous times per day. The apps are also extremely slow, unlike similar services. Just terrible all around. ### 1/5 — App not useful on iOS devices as compared to web browser *2024-06-13, version 24.5.0* On iOS devices iPhone and iPad Pro, the Citrix Files app version 24.5.0 does not let me do what logging on via a browser lets me do, (1) search a PDF file that I have up in the app or (2) download a file. The download capability doesn’t seem to work. Therefore, the app unfortunately really isn’t useful other than to view small number of page files. ### 1/5 — Cant sort folder contents by Date *2024-02-26, version 24.1.0* No function to be able to sort by date or date modified. So we are a big fan. ### 2/5 — Bug *2024-02-22, version 24.1.0* We cannot upload any files ### 4/5 — Editing *2023-08-29, version 23.8.0* I wish the options to write on the pdfs using the edit function on the iPad was better. The options are very basic. Erasing is hard. The requirement of going in and out of editing mode is burdensome too. Overall it’s functionality works good for me. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — One of the Worst Apps Ever *2026-05-20, version 26.5.0* I’m not sure if the bug fixes 1 day ago trashed this app but if it’s always operated as bad as this new download does, I can’t imagine anyone finding it useful. Documents can’t be found after downloading. Documents can’t be turned landscape to view. Documents have a navigation bar that will not go away so only 2/3rds of the portrait screen are available to view a document. Naturally zooming in on a document means you can see about 5 words per line. I clicked on something in the upper right corner of the document list screen and white dots appeared across the top of the screen that seemingly allowed for selection of documents and folders but then the dots wouldn’t go away nor could I see what the actions for the dots actually were. I ended up having to close the app just to get off that screen. Next step: uninstall… ### 1/5 — This version totally sucks *2025-12-21, version 25.11.0* Functionality is horrible in this version because it was designed for a mobile device. I want to be able to view my files as a drive in finder to quickly access client files and process signatures in Adobe. This is no longer available and it has killed my productivity. Please fix it. I am actively now looking for a new file storage platform just for this reason. ### 1/5 — Almost indescribably poorly coded *2025-12-15, version 25.11.0* I have used this app or the Citrix app that it used to be before the rename for about 3 years now. Every 3-5 months it just refuses to load or do anything. Hard stopping it doesn’t fix it. Restarting the phone doesn’t fix it. The only way to fix it is uninstall the app and set it all back up again…every time. Almost 30 years ago I used an FTP (file transfer protocol) program daily for years without anything even remotely like this, how can you not have the basic functionality of a 30+ year old program figured out by now? ### 1/5 — Stopped working and now wants $$?? *2025-12-06, version 25.11.0* Can’t get the app to work after using it successfully in the past. Deleted it and downloaded it again to try to fix it. As we evolve technologically i would love them to let clients upload multiple docs into one pdf, make it more obvious for people to name files so we dont get ANDB36,!30Dhj, and convert jpegs and heic files to pdf on upload. Other than that- it has been fantastic. Price goes up but so does everything. And - no data breaches.
