Please get in touch with us at support@sharkbridge.info ### 1/5 — What a waste! *2021-03-09* I have paid my annual subscription for several years now, and have enjoyed playing the daily tournaments. However, a few months ago I became aware that the day’s hands were identical to the previous ones! This happened frequently so I emailed for help. What I got was a pretty condescending reply ( really, you think I do t know how to update and close out if the app????)?! I am quite frustrated at this point and found the customer service to be useless. **Developer response:** Hi Sally, Each day new hands are played. Not sure what you are doing, it will help to calls us 1-855-EMA-BRDG. We have pro players playing the hands every day, there is no way they repeat. ### 1/5 — No response *2020-12-31* I have used the 7 day trial version for the full 7 days. I like the software but when I asked about certain operations, I have yet to receive any response - not even an ‘Out of Office’ response. To me, this is a clear indication of customer service. We have no pending request to answer. ### 2/5 — iPad app keeps on quitting *2023-02-27* Every time I try to save a hand the app quits. ;( Frustrating. ### 2/5 — AI Imbalanced *2020-11-06* Another Update: AI’s bidding is getting more atrocious, which I didn’t think was possible! Oh, and, it cheats! West bids 4 Clubs while holding a hand of 5 points and two lowly cards in clubs. East meanwhile has 7 cards in Clubs including A, K & J, which West seems to be aware of. I doubled and took them down -3. Similar scenarios have happened so often that I’ve given up taking screenshots since it doesn’t seem that the Devs have any interest in improving the AI. Time to uninstall and move on. Update: I’m truly glad to know that you are dedicated to improving the AI. I’ve taken a bunch of screenshots that I can email you, if that will help. I’ll try and report the hands via the button but, I don’t think it’s possible after the hand has been played. That button is not accessible when Shark shows on the pop up screen what it would have bid and scored. Rather than playing online, which depends on the schedule of others, I prefer to play against the AI. I would be happy to pay if I saw some real improvements with the AI’s bidding algorithm. Thanks for your response. I much preferred the previous version of this app. The “improvements “ to AI in this version are a joke! Even on the conservative setting, the Robot makes very aggressive bids for my partner North, invariably leading to a loss. What’s most galling is that, at the end of the game, Shark’s own analysis is that North should have bid differently! **Developer response:** Hi, The AI have not been neglected, for us that is the fun part of this project . We would like to see the boards for which you are not happy with the bidding, please use the Report button on the bottom right of the bridge table, it will send us the info we need to look at it and improve it. As for money, the $20 are there not to make us rich, compared to any other bridge App Shark is practically free, it is there so that only people serious about the game of bridge stay on our system. Shark is coded by and for bridge enthusiast !!! ### 3/5 — App is Not Working Properly *2026-03-21* Should run flawlessly and does not😡 ### 3/5 — Questionable play by the robots on Shark Bridge *2024-10-01* Getting outscored by the robot team which is bidding and making contracts that make no sense for the points held. On Slam bidding explorations, the robots don’t seem to understand use of Roman keycard conventions either. Very frustrating. **Developer response:** Hi, We’re sorry to hear you're having some issues with the robots. The replay can be a bit tricky, as the result is for reference only. To get a quicker result, the robot bids the hand without any simulations, and then the play is executed double dummy. Regarding RKC 1430, what do you have selected for SLAM bidding in your bidding system settings? If you encounter any bidding problems, use the report button to send us the hand and all the details we need to improve the robot. ### 3/5 — Signaling poor *2022-03-12* I very much like this app and play the daily tournament regularly. But please please please give the option of standard North American carding.
