• The upscaling engine has been rebuilt around a new memory system that streams results to disk instead of holding an entire image in RAM. Large upscales that used to run out of memory now finish, and everyday ones are far lighter on your device. A shared graphics context, smarter tile blending and a leaner model cache trim the overhead on every render.

TRANSPARENCY, FIXED
• Upscaling a PNG with a transparent background could produce a broken result, with the picture shrunk into one corner and black patches where the cut-out should be. Transparent images now upscale cleanly at full size, and exporting one to JPEG flattens it onto white instead of leaving dark holes behind.

TEXT AT YOUR SIZE
• Every control on the main screen now follows your text size setting, all the way up to the largest accessibility sizes. 
• Buttons reflow instead of clipping, labels wrap instead of truncating, and the selected mode is marked with a checkmark rather than colour alone. 
• VoiceOver reads the mode picker, the scale buttons and the quality settings, and the before-and-after slider can be adjusted with a swipe. 
• Reduce Motion is respected, and background animation stands down while a render is running so every cycle goes into your photo.

YOUR RENDER, PROTECTED
• The screen now stays awake while an upscale is in progress, and the app asks iOS for a moment of grace if you switch away. Tapping Cancel shows a Cancelling state and waits for the work to actually stop, so a second job can never pile on top of the first. Nothing is saved for a job you chose to stop, and it does not spend one of your free daily upscales.

BATCH YOU CAN TRUST
• Cancelling a batch stops it properly instead of leaving work running out of sight. Changing your selection mid-run no longer mixes up results. 
• Photos too large for your device are skipped with a clear explanation rather than failing without one, and finished batch images are saved to your history alongside everything else.

SHARPER EXPORTS
• An estimated file size now appears next to each format before you export, without waiting for a full encode. Shared files get their own temporary space and are cleaned up automatically, so exporting no longer quietly fills your storage.

Batch processing now has its own dedicated tab, making it easier than ever to queue up to 50 photos and enhance them all at once - available with SharpUpscale Pro.

We also fixed a bug where PNG images with transparent areas could produce incorrect output, and improved processing stability across all presets.
