The Shavian alphabet (or Shaw alphabet) was posthumously created as an alphabet for the English language, intended to replace Latin. Each character in the Shavian Alphabet requires only a single stroke to be written on paper. I have had no problems or complaints. I’ve been using it to help me learn the script but for that purpose a website would work much better. Having the Shavian and keyboard on my phone was certainly worth the eight dollars I paid for. ### 4/5 — Good app but could fit all the letters on one page of the keyboard *2025-06-30* I think it’s great but too high of a price and they could put all the keys on one page but they don’t ### 5/5 — Excellent app and keyboard *2025-02-21* This is an excellent keyboard. It also shows which sounds you are typing in the Latin alphabet so that you can see where you are going. I find it so useful and the shavian alphabet. It’s so suited to English and easier to learn than what we have now. We ought to use this instead. ### 3/5 — Keyboard layout and other things *2024-09-22* The keys are too small to see. The key background makes seeing the characters more difficult to see. Lastly, I prefer the Shavian layout as represented in the Keyman app. But I do like Shivian/legacy letter hints. ### 4/5 — Superb app! *2024-04-28* Such a great app. It works off-line and is a fantastic tool for both typing and learning the Shavian alphabet. It does have an "accent" however in that it doesn't always match the sounds I would choose for certain words. But otherwise it's great! There is one issue/bug. When translating is switches the F and V sounds.
