### 4/5 — Possible bug?

*2022-12-01, version 1.2.2*

When I try to give the acorn to the great tree nothing happens. I was able to give it the stick, leaf and berry and they worked but the acorn won’t.

### 4/5 — Relaxing gameplay - shorter than expected.

*2022-05-09, version 1.2.2*

Lovely animation with calming music and minimal conflict. I did find the story was very short though. Played through the game within 2 hours. Not what I was expecting for a $7 game.

### 4/5 — The end

*2020-07-24, version 1.2.2*

I finished the game and it was adventure packed with turns and riddles but once you finish, it is over

### 4/5 — More stories

*2020-05-04, version 1.2.2*

Once you finsh the game u can’t do anything else so add some more stories

### 5/5 — Second Part Maybe?

*2020-05-01, version 1.2.2*

I would love to see a part two. Maybe about the old trees past or something.

### 4/5 — Animation suggestion

*2020-04-24, version 1.2.2*

I enjoyed this game greatly and I was really surprised by the story line and the surprise at the end, I won’t say anything about it though for spoilers. The characters were unique and the art style was great, that is was initially drew me to the game. I also liked the puzzles they were simple but made you think. I did have one problem though, the exiting and entering animations were the firefly moves between rooms or areas of the game. I understand that this little detail is supposed add to the experience of the game play and I did like it at first but after a while it just became annoying. As I was trying to finish the puzzles moving through the rooms became tedious because of how many times I had to wait for the animation to be over. I suggest maybe cutting down on how many times you use that animation as a transition between rooms and maybe finding a new way for the firefly to move.

### 5/5 — Just absolutely great

*2020-04-20, version 1.2.2*

The storyline is really interesting and the game is filled with colours to match the amazing art work.family friendly with out being boring for adults I want a part 2

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2020-04-09, version 1.2.2*

This is a well crafted and artistically executed game.
You can play this game without WiFi.
This is a good example of a exploration puzzle game.
The puzzles are not that hard to solve, but they’re not simple.
I was able to solve all the puzzles without a walkthrough.
This is one of those games that you’ve played once, but you will probably have a feeling nostalgia to play it again.
I highly recommend it!

### 5/5 — I never write reviews

*2020-04-08, version 1.2.2*

It is rare to find a game such as this one. The story is beautiful and so well thought out, the art is magical, the characters are endearing. This game was not made without careful thought and a great deal of love. I loved this game, and I truly wish there were more like it.

### 5/5 — Little gem

*2020-04-06*

I loved the wonderful artworks and cute little story. It’s a very nice but short game. Hope there is more coming :) Was sad that it ended so quickly!!! Thank you!

### 5/5 — Packed with adventure and wisdom

*2020-04-05, version 1.2.2*

Thank you for this creation. Breath-takingly beautiful, it is filled with love and wise lessons.

### 5/5 — Simple and fun

*2020-04-04, version 1.2.2*

The game is really simple and warms my heart. All of the creatures are so cute

### 5/5 — Absolutely beautiful!

*2020-04-04, version 1.2.2*

This is an amazing. It’s an adorable story about a firefly on a journey to find Mother Earth to help restore the forest back to health. The artwork is amazing! The puzzles are not difficult. I very much enjoy choosing responses from a selection. The only that bugged me was how slow it took to go from area to area but small minor detail. I feel like the devours are analogous to humans and how they’ve forgotten how to take care of the earth and now it’s ruins. But that’s just my opinion. An amazing short story puzzles game that I’d recommend if you have an hour or two to kill. I love games like this and I wish there were more out there

### 4/5 — Beautiful

*2020-04-04, version 1.2.2*

The graphics in this game are absolutely breathtaking. I feel like I missed many details just playing through it once, and the storyline is really cute and indulging.
The only problem I had with it is that the transitions took a little longer and the dialogue was slow, but I think in a way, it makes you appreciate the graphics more.
Great job to the creators :)

### 5/5 — This game was so sad and happy

*2020-04-03, version 1.2.2*

Mostly I don’t think games are sad and happy but this game touched my heart I never seen any game like it! It made me so confused but I managed to beat it! It was so sad when she met mother! But my heart was smiling inside and outside I hope firefly and her siblings find the way back home! I hope denvovers don’t come back that won’t be good.i hope you continue the game when she finds her way home!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Wow

*2024-01-14, version 1.2.2*

This is so f’ing boring

### 1/5 — Boring, grammatical errors, slow dialog and ads

*2020-04-02, version 1.2.2*

A bit too slow for me and got knocked off by the “is” and “are” common English grammatical error within the first few minutes, which unfortunately broke the immersion for me. Then the pop up advert in a paid game put the last nail in the coffin.

### 1/5 — No access.

*2020-03-31, version 1.2.2*

I don’t think I can access all the levels :( after I solve the puzzles and find the Mother it says I’ve opened up a new task. When I click on the 2 rectangle. It just brings me back to the end of the Mother section with Fire fly waking up. Then I have to go through the ending with the end credits again. It pans down to grandma, she tells the kids there are more stories and then it goes black and back to the home screen. :( bummed this seemed like a fun puzzle.

### 1/5 — The screen is blank

*2020-03-31, version 1.2.2*

It wont play at alllll at my ipad

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2019-07-01, version 1.0*

It keeps crashing over and over no matter what I try. I can’t finish or even really start the game.

### 2/5 — Can't see all of the screen on new ipad pro 11"

*2019-07-18, version 1.0*

I started this game on an iPad Pro 9.7. I was working on the 3 trials and had found the king potato. However I just upgraded to an iPad Pro 11" and am continuing the game, but now the area where king potato was is off the edge of the screen. I'm stuck.

I see that another reviewer had a similar problem except with an iPhone XS.

I hope an update comes soon to address this. I was enjoying the game, so I'll increase my rating if this issue is fixed.

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2024-06-04, version 1.2.2*

It is not often at all that I feel this way as I’m fairly easy to please with games of all different styles however this was a huge let down for me. The artwork & music was well done and a lot of work seemed to be put into this however I’m not sure I’d call this a game at all. I wouldn’t even call it a beautiful story that you get lost in. It’s quite frustrating to play, for example moving from one screen to the next is painfully slow with almost what you would call a loading screen every time you move from one part of the scene to the next. Everything you need to do/interact with is highlighted on the screen and is very basic. I’m not sure I’ve ever paid for a game that I’ve regretted this much however I had to push through it as I’d already paid $8 for it & felt it would be a waste if I didn’t try & see if I could adjust to the gameplay or maybe as it went on it would get better. It’s a shame because it had a lot of potential!

### 3/5 — Just ok

*2020-11-25, version 1.2.2*

The artwork is beautiful but the dialogue is excessively longwinded with little choice/interaction from the user. When talking, characters appear either very angry or depressed with little variation in between. This makes all character interactions stressful or just awkward. The audio design is overwhelming and unpleasant. I had to turn the sound off to play. There is also a long lag between scenes. I was expecting a lot more from this. Disappointed.

### 3/5 — Wish it was longer

*2020-08-14, version 1.2.2*

Finished it in 2 days. Game and music was nice but, too easy. Wish it was longer.

### 3/5 — Beautiful, but short.

*2020-04-16, version 1.2.2*

Really really beautiful illustration and music, a fun little point and click puzzle that shows you where to click. Not sure why you need 9 save slots for a game that only lasts about 2 hours max. I probably would have been a little disappointed that I finished it so quickly if I had paid for it, but I did find it enjoyable.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Visual & Bahasa yg indah

*2024-10-02, version 1.2.2*

Visualnya sangat indah, utk visualnya saja game ini sudah sangat memuaskan, cerita & penggunaan bahasa indonesianya jg sangat detil. Sangat suka game ini.

### 5/5 — Highly Enjoyable Adventure

*2022-10-29, version 1.2.2*

This adventure is a little short (I finished it in around 4 hours), but it is thoroughly enjoyable throughout. There aren’t many different locations, but each one is packed with character and style.

The ending is a little bittersweet, and I wish this app had the achievements other versions had, but other than that, I can find no fault with this.

Please give us a sequel soon!

### 5/5 — She and the lightbearer

*2021-07-27, version 1.2.2*

Amazing! Such a beautiful underrated gem !

Short and absolutely stunning

Not much when you finish but you don’t need anything else!

### 5/5 — This is literally a heart warming tale

*2020-09-30, version 1.2.2*

This is a short, narrative adventure. Easy puzzles, and it guides you through most of them. This is a great little game for young kids - probably about 8-13 years old especially, but it is a nice escape for people of any age. Since it really is narrative-based, please take your time on the story and conversations. It’s not highly challenging. But it is worth 5 stars if you love good stories that keep you involved. The puzzles might be a bit harder for kids, so keep that in mind. There is a small amount of backtracking, but overall a bittersweet tale with room to expand if the developers so choose.

### 5/5 — Great game!!

*2020-09-17, version 1.2.2*

Rarely do I feel compelled to write a review for a game..At first I thought this game would be corny because of the way it starts out but I am so glad I gave it a chance! This game has such a deep meaning, surprisingly so, with the way most games are being created these days. No ads either! I am really impressed and at the age of 42, I am not impressed by much in terms of games. Greeeaat job on this one.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2020-09-02, version 1.2.2*

Love the story cute and fun and it is simple

### 5/5 — Love ❤️ this game!!!

*2020-08-05, version 1.2.2*

I love the storyline of this game. The characters are cute and all have their own personalities. The puzzles are hard but not to hard however when I was solving one of the trials with the reed it took me 6 days to answer because there where 2 answers their instead of three, After a few months the answer was there so if this is a problem please try to solve it. Also I would like a second part to this game. Otherwise amazing 😉 game.

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2020-06-09, version 1.2.2*

Beautiful graphics, beautiful story, beautifully told.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2020-05-28, version 1.2.2*

### 5/5 — So cute
