### 2/5 — Needs bug fixes

*2026-04-08, version 3.56*

This app won’t let me copy and paste when I want to share verses. It also does not have dark mode. Otherwise I enjoy the app. There’s so much improvement they could easily make with this app. Last update was a year ago.

### 2/5 — frustrated

*2025-11-02, version 3.56*

I was so excited to get started with this app but after two months I fail to see the value add. Very counter intuitive.

### 3/5 — Difficult to navigate

*2025-10-26, version 3.56*

I love the content, but left several years ago, because it is difficult to navigate.
Recently a small group of women I am involved with decided we would like to do the Give Thanks 21 day study.
I still feel like it is difficult to navigate for those of us who are generally ap savy…. (i’m 63)

### 3/5 — Missing features

*2025-10-12, version 3.56*

I have used this app for many years. In the past few months I noticed the copy/paste and share function don’t work any longer. It was so helpful in the past when I came across a scripture or passage I wanted to share with someone.

### 4/5 — fantastic reading plans

*2025-09-22, version 3.56*

Even though this app does have some bugs, this is the first time in my life I’m reading the Bible consistently and that’s all thanks to the She Reads Truth reading plans. i’ve really been enjoying the Psalms of gratitude and then journaling about what I wrote.

### 3/5 — Gental Feedback

*2025-06-13, version 3.56*

I use the app but not consistently. As a career woman and mom, sometimes I like to the convenience of being able to listen to my devotionals while working out, driving, etc. Because this feature is not available I gravitate to the apps that provide the listening option.

### 4/5 — Love but could use some improvements.

*2025-04-05, version 3.56*

I now have been subscribing to monthly boxes for about 5 months now.

I love the ability to read as many books or guides as I want with the premium.

The highlight note save button glitches out constantly though. When not in a guide. You have to scroll back up to where you were not and go back down to find your spot and hope it worked.

The notes save great. I wish there were more highlighter options.

Also wish you guys would make some widgets that would be amazing!!!!!!

### 3/5 — Lackluster reading plans

*2025-02-25, version 3.56*

I love SRT. The virtual studies are not bad, I do like the occasional blog and I like how all the passages are curated for easy reading. But by the time I scroll to the end for community comments, there's no way to check off that I've done the reading. I have to click back a couple times to get to the reading plan page where the light green check shows up on its own. I wish it was similar to The Bible App. It's not user friendly.

I also wish it had the capability to do a reading plan with friends and then comment within that group.

### 2/5 — Not User friendly

*2024-12-28, version 3.56*

Beautiful app. but not an easy to navigate intuitively. You have to hit the back button or close the app again to continue on. And a lot functions aren’t working. Notice, some code breaks as well.

### 2/5 — No audio

*2024-12-05, version 3.56*

Can you add the audio bible? Or can it be on the youversion plans so we can use it from there with all the audio bibles. It’s also very hard to find the bible in a year. You have to select free, then its last on the list.

### 4/5 — There’s no Audio in the Bible app

*2024-11-11, version 3.56*

I love the Bible and app!! But there’s no audio button while I’m reading the Bible.

### 3/5 — Orientation

*2024-09-29, version 3.56*

I have used the She Reads Truth App from time to time. I use my IPad all the time. I do wish the orientation of the app switched from portrait to landscape. 🤷‍♀️ Just my Sunday afternoon thoughts.

### 4/5 — Mostly perfect

*2024-09-18, version 3.56*

I love this app and am happy to pay the very small cost for the devotions (their team works hard to put them together).
Only one issue is the “copy” feature doesn’t work - I want to copy a verse and save it in my journal app and the feature just doesn’t work. Other than that - I really do love this app and recommend it to everyone.

### 4/5 — Virtual Workbook

*2024-09-04, version 3.56*

I love the content of your studies; however, I desperately wish that the virtual plans functioned the same as the hard copy plans - give me the worksheets too! Let me be able to write in the margins or fill things in instead of tapping a sentence for the option to insert notes that I have to go elsewhere to see. I want to underline, star, etc. Without having to buy the workbooks - I move often and cannot afford to have 50 workbooks literally weighing me down, but I don’t want to toss my past studies…

### 4/5 — Good app, good Bible.

*2024-08-09, version 3.55*

Is there a ways to also add this app to the Apple TV? It would help greatly.

### 3/5 — Online discussions

*2024-06-25, version 3.55*

I use the SRT paper book studies. Is there a way to find discussions with other readers on the app? I’ve searched & been unavble to find it. If this is not an option, could it be considered please? Discussions, no matter what version you use to study, are helpful in reading things you may have missed from that day’s study.
Thank you!

### 3/5 — Costs.

*2024-05-24, version 3.54*

This would be a great app for so many more people, but it costs money. Couldn’t end up using it for the price.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

*2026-08-14, version 3.56*

I downloaded the app after finding one the of She Reads Truth Bibles in the store. When I opened it, I wanted to view the app before creating an account to see if the app was as good as the bible, so I proceeded as a “guest”. Got the Green screens as to what the app was about but no option to see the app fully nor would the app let me out of the “what the app is about” screens. Not sure how 1.5k were able to open and use the app without running into the glitch of “if you don’t create an account”, you can’t go further.

### 1/5 — App Barely Works

*2026-07-25, version 3.56*

Just thought the monthly subscription and BOOM the app doesn’t recognize the subscription.

A great way to discourage new and other Christians from reading the bible? Create a glitchy app with mediocre support. This is the worst app I have used in the year of our Lord 2020 snd so on. Every time I try to give the app another chance it performs the same: horribly. Please redo the whole app, note taking, highlighting, interface and throw the current app and whatever server or coding you’re using away. A better app could be crafted with AI and I hate AI.

### 1/5 — I want to love it

*2026-06-29, version 3.56*

I have been a subscriber of SRT and love the content, but the app is terrible. I can no longer even get into the app and it will not allow me to reset password as it tells me there is a problem. Very frustrating that I can’t even use part of my subscription because I cannot even get into the app. I have emailed SRT now four different times without any response.

### 1/5 — Does not meet my needs

*2025-12-21, version 3.56*

You cannot tab multiple pages and when u highlight passages they’re not saved in the highlighted list

### 1/5 — Not what it used to be

*2024-07-06, version 3.55*

SRT seems to be a ghost of its former self. I don’t know what it is but the app is basically unusable. All the reading plans on the app seem to be from 2019. Everything feels cold and empty. It’s not intuitive how to open or start a new study. I tried to type in search Philippians and nothing popped up. I redownloaded this app remembering how I used to enjoy it but yea. I think it’s dead and the creators are probably focusing more on print copies that make money.

### 1/5 — So bummed!

*2024-06-24, version 3.55*

It pains me to do this but I just deleted the She Reads Truth app for the last time. I love SRT and have purchased plans for the past 5 or 6 years. The app has never been great, but now it’s just garbage. It rarely updates correctly and sometimes it’s down for days forcing you to move to the website to read the content you paid for. I suspect as they have pivoted hard toward selling study books, they’re just letting the app wither and die. Unfortunately, they should communicate this to their customers and just shut the app down completely. Don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — Useless if you already bought the book!

*2024-04-26, version 3.53*

I recently downloaded the app after purchasing the Numbers study book from the website. The inside of my book stated, “Devotionals corresponding to each daily reading plan can be found in the Numbers reading plan on the She Reads Truth app.” So I downloaded the app, but didn’t see Numbers listed in my purchased plans section. I reached out to customer support to find out how to sync my purchase, and after some back and forth with customer support, I learned a few things.

First, my website purchase will never show up in the app because they are two different accounts and apparently cannot be synced. Just about every company I know these days has figured out how to sync account activity between the website and app, so this is just plain aggravating, especially when purchases are involved.

Second, I learned that in order to access the daily devotions in the app (which are free to the public on the website) I would have to pay an additional $1.99. If you have purchased the study guide through the app or paid for a subscription, then you can access the devotions in the app. If you are like me and started with buying a book, then the app is absolutely useless unless you want to pay a convenience fee to use the app to do what your phone’s web browser can do for free.

I’m sharing this because had I known this upfront, I would not have bothered with the app in the first place.

### 1/5 — App is horrible now

*2024-03-26, version 3.53*

I have tried to hand in there but what was once a daily devotional is now a daily headache and disappointment. Idk what happened but it’s unfortunate how badly this app works I can’t even log in and for months the reading plane were not properly available. I’m deleting and unsubscribing

### 1/5 — Can’t even use this now

*2024-03-25, version 3.53*

The inability to download a new study is making this impossible to use. I’ve had the SRT app for years, even bought a SRT Bible, but now I can’t use this for one of my primary draws. I’ll keep an eye out for an update, but in the meantime I’m finding a different app for my Bible study.

### 1/5 — Help!

*2024-03-13, version 3.52*

I bought the subscription box, which came with a subscription to the app. It won’t let me use the code. So I paid for the app subscription. It’s not working. I’ve tried to reach out to support with no response.

i have been following the she reads truth app since 2013 and it has grown in leaps and bounds. the organization has made the app so beautiful, user friendly, meaty and connected to other rich, deep ways to learn more about jesus. 5-stars, this app is LITERALLY UNDERRATED & phenomenal!

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2023-12-08, version 3.51*

I love this app and recommend it to everyone! I used to be able to copy and paste the scriptures and it doesn’t allow me to anymore. But I highly recommend the app!! The notes section is so amazing esp during church. The plans keep me in the word. Please fix the copy/past issue.

### 5/5 — Never had an issue.

*2023-11-17, version 3.50*

I don’t understand all the negativity regarding this app! I have had it for years and never had a problem. I also listen to the podcasts and have the monthly subscription to the study book.
Please don’t me put off by negative reviews!
