I’m currently on maternity leave and decided to rent my space so I could help cover cost while I was gone. The process was easy and effortless. I am using this app as a host and I find that the app is easy to use, you can see the stylist reviews and choose to accept or reject any request. The shear share team is also very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. I remember that I accidentally rejected a request and they quickly texted me asking for the reason and after explaining that I accidentally rejected the request they quickly solved the issue for me and I was on my way to renting my space. I would recommend this app if you’re looking to renting out a space in your shop or if you’re a stylist looking to work independently and need to quickly find a host, this is the best way as it connects you with a whole network of stylist and shop host. **Developer response:** Thanks, Maria! As a salon owner this app has helped to fill empty chairs in my salon through the years. I have met some amazing stylist from across the world that use it to work in any city they choose. The support and individual assistance from the team are unmatched. It crashes every single time. I haven’t been able to even see what this app has to offer because it crashes every single time. I have tried deleting and reinstalling, and have tried to create an account with separate emails hoping it would work but it hasn’t. While the idea of this app is great, the execution is horrible! ### 3/5 — Inconsistent *2022-05-27, version 10.0.4* I think they need a good tech team to monitor updates. Every time I update the app to the latest version; their is a new bug preventing progress. Because you cannot enter your city without it being deleted. It hinders one from moving forward to the next step. Because you have to sign in all over again. I am stuck unable to book the salon I want to visit while traveling for work. Unfortunately it’s always something going on:/ A few months back I was looking to book a space to do microblading but the app continuously closed upon opening and I would have to delete and reinstall and hoped it work! Now I’m unable to even search around the areas I’ll be working it doesn’t even pull up my keyboard! They want us to spread the word, but it isn’t credible enough yet to tell the world. Please fix these issues I’m keeping the app off of faith because I know it’s something great. Someone else will make this idea really work and it’ll be too late! Every step of the way I had support and people checking in from ShearShare to make sure everything was being handled. The stylist was lovely and left the studio spotless after she left. My only criticism is that, as a host, I can’t make any of my own updates. They are sent to ShearShare and then updated/uploaded by support - which they are great at! But I’d rather tinker with my pictures, etc myself. We also have more than one space that I may want to list at a different price point, so having the option to list more than one studio would be nice. For salon owners, it helps to expose and bring in new tenants to their salons. So far my experience has been excellent with connecting and communicating within the app and with the people that inquire and want to register to use my rental booths. I was trying to figure out how I would rebuild my clientele back up in a place where I knew no one. I found this app and fell in love! It helped me tremendously because I was able to look at salons in the area of my choosing, see the cost of the chair for that day, reach out to the owner and book a chair. The process was quick and simple. I booked several times through the app with no problem. I told the salon owner from my hometown about the app and she now is a host.
