## What is Shed Builds?

I created Shed Builds because the true value of a project isn't just the finished product, it's the late nights, the scuffed knuckles, and the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to get there. I wanted a place where builders could pull their progress out of the camera roll and turn it into a real, living timeline.

This is a space to document your journey, share the story behind the metal, and connect with a community that actually gets it. At its core, it’s designed to capture the "blood, sweat, and tears" that go into a custom build and connect a community of like-minded builders.

Here is the breakdown of what the platform actually does:

The Storyboard (Intelligent Timeline): The defining feature of the app. It automatically generates a chronological timeline of a build by reading the capture dates of uploaded photos and slotting in task completions, archiving the journey from a rough barn-find to the finished product.

The Garage: The central hub where users manage their active fleet of projects and oversee their current builds.

The Whiteboard: The logistical side of the app. It allows users to break down builds into actionable task lists, track required parts, and use a direct integration to search eBay for specific components with one click.

The Community: A social feed where builders can broadcast their timelines, share their progress, buy and sell parts or vehicles, and find inspiration from other people putting in the late nights in the garage.

It's essentially the ultimate digital toolkit to pull a project's history out of a messy camera roll and turn it into a living, valuable archive that a community of real builders can appreciate.
