What can we learn by taking a different look at antlers? Our mission is not to just change the way antlers are measured and viewed… it’s about building a tools for conservation. Introducing Shed Happens, a 100% free to use mobile app that uses proprietary AI technology to almost effortlessly measure and score your shed antlers. Shed Happens offers a user-friendly experience with easy-to-use features. Simply Take a photo of your antlers, and our AI algorithms will take care of the rest, giving you an easy-to-read scorecard in under 60 seconds. Our AI's are trained to recognize and measure the Tines, Main Beam, and Mass of your antler in accordance with our BFA scoring system. 

 However we are not providing you quick and easy measurements of your antlers just for bragging rights… it’s so much more than that! We want to become the worlds largest digital antler data base so we may use scale, data and technology to gain powerful insights into our antlered species. So whether you care to know the score of your antlers or not, please upload images of your antlers to our app so we can collect and analyze the data from them. 
 Our AI’s are currently capable of scoring ELK, Mule Deer and Whitetail species. The majority of our training focus thus far has been on whitetail deer and it's currently our most accurate specie. For now our accuracy isn’t great and depends greatly on the background and image quality. But don't worry we have a plan to increase the accuracy and we have shown that AI can be extremely accurate when properly trained and fed the correct image…. We have already collected roughly 3,000 antlers for our training and testing efforts and are measuring a couple hundred antlers/ week… but thats not nearly enough and we need your help collecting more! All antlers uploaded and saved to Shed Happens are used as training data for our AI systems. And the more images we train on the more accurate our AI will become. 

 For those who want to directly and significantly help with our training and testing efforts you can pick up a free tape measure and become an antler measurer for us. We have given you the ability to manually input the actual measurements of the antler within the score card side by side the AI measurements. This can be done immediately following getting the score card back from the AI or within the Home page by clicking on the the score card.
