I’ve enjoyed playing it for the most part, building my deck, etc...but it gets boring and repetitive pretty quickly. I think this game would be so great if the developer adds an extra level of detail to it and more card variety. Like give a player a “reason” to save or steal the sheep. Create some story development. Make me want to keep going, cause after hitting level 14ish I was pretty bored of the repetitiveness of it all. ### 5/5 — Genial *2019-03-08* Endlich mal ein richtig gutes Kartenspiel ### 5/5 — Great card/strategy game *2019-03-05* The game doesn't get boring as you get new cards and goals as you level up! Thanks. ### 3/5 — Great game bug buggy *2019-03-03* I really enjoyed the game with my kids but the app is pretty buggy. 1. The app won’t let me do anything when I do not have the proper card for me move, i assume there should be a skip or continue button so the next player can proceed with the next move. Also there was couple instances where the app was stuck randomly when you used sprint card to lure and steal combination. These are the bugs I have encountered in less than an hour. Otherwise, great game and clear interface and nice graphics. **Developer response:** You can skip your turn by discarding a card. To discard a card, drag it back to your deck. ### 5/5 — JETZT ist es perfekt *2019-02-27* Anfänglich gab es einen Fehler der übertriebene inAPP-Preise angezeigte (evtl hatte dieses game dadurch einen schlechten start)... der Fehler ist nun behoben und man kann nun auch seinen Namen ändern 👍 Nun zum Spiel : Ich habe einen Hang zu ausgefallenen Kartenspielen auf dem Smartphone... Kunstwerke wie : solitairica, reigns, card thief, card crawl sind meine Favoriten... Dieses Spiel reiht sich problemlos auf gleicher Augenhöhe ein, mit einem entscheidenden Unterschied, der sich besonders auf die langzeit-Motivation auswirken dürfte... DIESES spiel kann man auch zu ZWEIT gegeneinander / oder gegen andere Spieler spielen... und das ist in diesem Bereich eine absolute Seltenheit... Meine Freundin ist nun leider schon 10 stufen weiter als ich (ca bei stufe 22 / ohne zusätzliche inAPP käufe)... zeit das Wolfkostüm anzuziehen und aufzuholen 🐺... von mir 5 Schafe : 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 Anregung : aTV-support... ich weiss das dieses spiel für „Hochformat“ optimiert ist, dennoch gibt es einen teil von regins der dies auch auf 16:9 geschafft hat (leider mit schlechter Steuerung) bevor dieses game in den Tiefen des appstores verschwindet - könnte man evtl eine aTV-version erstellen... jeh nach aufwand könnte es so evtl. leichter seine Zielgruppe finden, da die unterstützten spiele dort noch recht überschaubar sind und nicht so schnell verschwinden... As mentioned earlier, the prices are €3,49 and €7,99 and not €349 and €799. Но в игре очень часто бывают ошибки с сохранением прогресса. Покупаешь Карты, составляешь себе колоду, а потом она просто исчезает. Так же было бы удобно, если бы добавили возможность игры с друзьями «на равных». Например, все Карты 1 уровня. Потому что все друзья на разных этапах прохождения и соревноваться нет смысла, потому что победит тот, кто выше уровнем ### 5/5 — Lovely, simple, surprisingly deep *2019-02-15, version 1.4.2* This is a nice simple diversion from more complex games like Hearthstone. ### 5/5 — SO FUN 💕💕 *2019-02-14, version 1.4.2* I absolutely LOVE this game! I was a bit upset to see the price at 3.99. (was 2.99) But I gave it a try. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Sheeping around is similar to PVZ Heros which is another fun card game app. But I find this more fun. ### 5/5 — Better than Hearthstone *2019-02-07, version 1.4.2* This game is aweeeeesome, running a deck full of traps/guard for maximum board control ;3 Would love to see the deck editing screen changed so I only see the cards in my deck rather than scrolling through my whole collection to figure out what’s currently in my deck. I never have to wait more than a couple of seconds for an opponent. To the devs. Please consider making an LOTR game or something involving a journey with this same game mechanic. Would be an instant hit. Great Job!!! **Developer response:** I'm actually already conceptualizing a dark themed role-playing card game tentatively titled "Gravefire", where you are a necromancer who captures wandering souls of the undead, however I am not sure if the same Sheeping Around mechanic will work that. It’s great. It looks good and the game play is unique. However, it’s very buggy and will cause you to lose progress. What’s worse is that the developers do not respond to support emails. Glad I haven’t made any in-game purchases. Purchased two cards last night. This morning however, the coins are gone and so are the cards. UPDATE: No updates in over four months yet critical, leveling-up blocking bugs persist. Be warned. Просьба исправить ВСЕ недорозуменения! ### 2/5 — Good concept, bad execution. *2019-01-29* First off all you’re stuck with a predetermined name and can’t change it. Secondly, if you are in a position where you can’t play a card, the game has no pass option and basically forfeits you which is BS. Thirdly, they claim your playing against other players but there is no way to tell. Look elsewhere or wait until this game eventually becomes free. **Developer response:** I will add the option to change the name this week. There was a critical release bug that prevented some people to sign in using GameCenter (those people could not play the game at all), so I added a fallback to anonymous login. 95% of the players have their usernames picked automatically from GameCenter and only 5% are affected. You can see this in the leaderboard. Second, you can end your turn by discarding a card. To discard a card drag it back to your deck. It is explained in the tutorial and you might have seen your opponent do it too. It might not be very obvious, so I will make sure it is. You are playing against real players. In case a real player cannot be found a bot is spawned. That should happen less often now that there are a good number of players playing almost 24x7. All PvP games do that. That is how most PvP games have super fast matchmaking and can find a match 100% of the time. I'm just honest with players and tell them upfront that sometimes they might be playing against the AI. ### 2/5 — Cute concept poor execution *2019-01-27, version 1.4.2* Aside from the fact that the game is filled with bugs. And I mean showstopping bugs.. the menu is archaic , you can’t change your name , hard to locate things , it's clunky etc. Fix the bugs at least ### 3/5 — Boring *2021-05-23* Great production, art and theme (for a card game), but the gameplay is dull without any trace of variety or depth. ### 3/5 — Zug überspringen??? *2020-01-06* Bitte um Möglichkeit via Button seinen Zug zu überspringen wenn man nicht legen kann. Sonst muss man warten bis die Zeit abgelaufen ist und beide Spieler müssen sehr lange warten :( und meistens bricht die Verbindung beim warten ab. Ansonsten finde ich das Spiel sehr schön, mehr Plätze als 3 würden auch längeren Spielspaß garantieren weil das Spiel sehr kurz ist. The card unlock/building scale seems fair as is the level-based match-making. The frustrating issue is the frequent loss in progress. As others have commented, and as the developer has acknowledged, there is a likelihood of progress (level, cards, and/or coins) being lost over the course of playing. I’ve played the latest updated version for the last two days and have had progress lost to the point of resetting my profile three times—in WiFi and cellular networks. Fortunately I haven’t spent any IAPs nor was I too far along (up to level 7). From other reviews, it appears the developer is actively trying to resolve the issue, but until then, I’ll need to hold off on investing any more time on this FUN game... so please find a fix! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best Strategy Card game with Great Graphics and Multiplayer fun *2026-05-31* This is a surprisingly addictive strategy card game with beautiful artwork and excellent graphic quality.
