The reason we reduced the offline audio quality was because the full Quran in high quality was over 2GB, and many users were unable to install the app due to storage issues. To keep the app light (around 400MB), we now provide high-quality audio for online listening, and ads can be removed for a seamless experience. We are also working on a feature where you’ll be able to download only the Surahs you need in high quality, without having to carry the full 2GB. This happened because they added an option that only works better if the app is connected online. Honestly, they ruined the sound on purpose. It used to be high quality offline, but now they force people to go online for ads.
