I downloaded this (free) for a group of 3 who want to share books and discuss them. Very minimal and simple club. But tech savvy enough to handle an app. This was even recommended by ChatGPT. The first impossible task/ To set up a group and invite two others who cannot even see the book club invite (although as owner I can see their invites are pending and they show with a lock which makes me think paywall even tho they say this level is free) Delete!

**Developer response:** Thank you for giving Shelfclub a try, and I'm sorry setting up your club was so frustrating. Our latest update fixes exactly what you ran into: invites now appear at the top of My Book Clubs with a badge, and tapping an invite opens the club with Accept and Decline right there. Private clubs are labeled "Private" instead of showing a bare lock, and they're free, like every club. Creating a club, inviting friends and discussing books cost nothing.

If you give it another shot, I'd love to help you get your group running. Just email support@shelfclub.app. — Anthony, Shelfclub
