I’m often working from my phone and iPad (connecting to a Mac mini) so needed something with basic cloud sync, tmux support and works with Claude code. Every ShellDrop user should install this update. Fixed a Face ID bug. On some devices, the saved connections list, the key picker, and the SSH keys screen could trigger repeated Face ID prompts and sometimes crash the app. Those screens no longer touch Face ID at all. It now appears only when you actually connect with a protected key. The login area in Settings is now Login and Connections. Small fixes and polish. ### 5.1.4 — 2026-08-30 Camera roll mode for the paperclip. If you attach photos far more often than you send a video or a file, switch it on in Settings and the paperclip opens your camera roll on a plain tap. Tap and hold it for the file, image, and video menu. While camera roll mode is on, the button becomes a photo icon with a small paperclip in the corner, so you can tell at a glance which mode you are in. Tmux auto-attach now explains itself when it cannot find your session. If your server does not publish its session name as the terminal title, reattaching had nothing to aim at. Copy from any app, multi-select from Photos, or pick from Files. 2. You choose the upload size limit. Settings goes from 100 MB to 1 GB, and if a file is over, ShellDrop offers to raise it on the spot. 3. Text selection: selection mode, long press to select a word, one tap links to open them. 4. Voice Drop. Tap the mic on the keyboard toolbar, drop your words straight into the agent. On-device Siri by default, bring your own API key for Groq. On by default, disable in Settings. Also works perfectly with any voice keyboard of your choice (e.g. Wispr Flow). 5. The keyboard toolbar is yours now: tap and hold to rearrange, and create your own Tmux-aware key bindings in Settings. Sticky ctrl for all of your perverted tmux activities, multiple new useful buttons added. 6. Tab names now sync with tmux automatically. 7. Ask your agent to send any block of text straight to your device clipboard. E.g. "copy that email to my clipboard", then paste it into your mail app and send.
