I accidentally made a double payment once because of it, after I thought the first attempt failed. But that’s been rare and usually works fine. It takes forever to load my loan details, and still doesn’t load it at all. Absolutely useless. Their website is not any better! Unfortunately my lender transferred me over to this terrible company to service my loan, but my experience has been terrible! First payment I submitted on their website, it triple withdraw the amount of money! Sitting auto payment is painful and confusing! They cannot address me & my partner by name. I probably wouldn’t be able to understand the overseas outsourced accent anyways but it doesn’t matter bc theuy’ll just leep transferring your call to still fo NOTHING! To monitor the loan you have to have another app downloaded, and that app’s connection needs to be reconnected constantly in order to simply view your basic loan information. Whoever was in charge of this most recent update needs to be demoted. ### 1/5 — App *2025-12-11, version 4.6.1* Useless ### 1/5 — When Paying on Time Still Gets You Punished *2025-11-07, version 4.5.0* I’m very disappointed with how Shellpoint handles payments and customer service. I sent a $2,584 refund check clearly marked “insurance refund,” but they applied it to my monthly mortgage payment instead of escrow. That mistake caused my escrow payment to go up for no reason. When I called to fix it, the representative confirmed that the transfer to escrow isn’t automatic—I had to request it manually over the phone. Even though I always pay on time, they still sent a “spill debt disclosure” notice, which felt unnecessary, unfair, and frustrating. The whole process wasted my time and showed that they don’t value timely-paying customers or accuracy in account handling. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-09-25, version 4.4.1* The loan dashboard, payments section, and statements section never load any information. It can see that I have a a loan, but never is able to show anything. I have to do everything through the website instead ### 1/5 — Worthless!! *2025-09-18, version 4.4.1* This app is broken and won’t load your loan details. I’ve called several times and the company just wants to constantly confirm they have all my information current and then say they will forward on the issues. Nothing happens.
