Tout fonctionnait très bien avant, les mises à jour doivent corriger les bugs, pas en créer. ### 2/5 — Ceased working on Apple Watch *2026-08-12* I constantly gives the error message “you don’t have any rooms set up“. But there are rooms set up. I have tried some of the troubleshooting procedures but to have to go through that many gymnastics this app has ceased to be a useful tool and is now just another “tool”! ### 3/5 — Widgets ne marchent plus *2026-07-12* Les widgets n’affichent plus désormais de contenu. Et lorsqu’on les recrée, ils ne proposent plus aucun choix: ni de pièce, ni de d’appareil. Using it for automated garage door functionality since mine is so old it doesn’t have app support to open/close it. My only complaint is that you can’t change the button size or make Shortcuts with iPhone to open/close it. I ride a bike and trying to hit the tiny button with gloves on is a pita… ### 3/5 — AI Breakdown *2026-06-18, version 1.8.5* I don’t like the AI breakdown tab at energy page, absolutely useless because it not working just says always “try later”, but the next item “history” is very useful, but the AI thing just pushes away this menu tab from the screen, and scrolling the tabs unfortunately not working too good. It will be a good idea to have option to change order of this top tabs and/or remove the ones that you don’t want to see. Overall the app is good and very well designed, but please do something with the mentioned problem. ### 3/5 — Useless *2026-06-17, version 1.8.5* Works well on my Android phone. Won’t let me sign in to my account on my iPad so it’s just wasted space. ### 4/5 — Raccourci shelly plus fonctionnel depuis la dernière mise a jour *2026-05-17* Bonjour, J’utilisais un raccourci crée dans l’application raccourci de l’iphone pour commander vocalement celui çi soit par siri (en utilisant le nom donné à ce raccourci, soit , après avoir ajouter le raccourci sur l’apple watch, d’exécuter ce dernier avec les gestes de assistive touch. Tout marchait très bien, mais depuis votre mise à jour, et peut etre celle de l’app Raccourci, je ne peux plus utiliser les raccourcis crées sur la montre. Avant lorsque l’on voulait créer un raccourci depuis l’app Shelly, on avait une ligne qui se nommait Relay Contrôle dans laquelle on pouvait indiquer le device ID, le channel, le type (shelly plus 1 pour moi). Cette ligne n’existe plus. Maintenant, on a Toggle a relay, run scène… Sur l’app watch, le geste est bien reconnu, mais ne déclenche rien (ouverture, fermeture impossible. ) Cette possibilitré d’utiliser les gestes de la main pour commander le dispositif shelly était bien appréciable. Leider hat die App seit Version 3.76 sporadisch keine Verbindung zu den Geräten und zeigt veraltete Messwerte an. Davor nie Probleme. Can’t move it. Also bottom menu ghosts over items. Used to be better, but as always developers need to justify their existence by adding Schnickschnack. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App crashed lost rooms *2026-07-28* Am a longtime user of the Shelly Smart Control on the iOS. The devices just stopped being recognized and lost all connectivity. Logged out and back in to get a sinning wheel. Closed out the app and reopened. Saw that I lost all my rooms and had no devices. Tried to update the app same result. Tried to delete and uninstall with the same result. The web interface is the same. The app finds the existing devices and goes through the inclusion process but the app cannot create a room, therefore, cannot add the device. Luckily I have Home Assistant to control the devices (which are great), the app however is broken. ### 1/5 — Frustrating Device Onboarding & Clunky App Experience *2026-07-21* The hardware itself works once you fight through the setup, but the Shelly app is a frustrating mess 🚮🗑️. Onboarding devices is a headache. Battery sensors like the Flood drop off and go to sleep before finishing their initial cloud connection, leaving setup stuck. Meanwhile, on relays like the 1PM, basic functions like setting up a Wi-Fi network do not work properly. To get simple settings to actually stick, you constantly have to bypass the app completely and configure devices directly through a local web browser. The menus are counterintuitive, cloud handshakes fail routinely, and the app leaves you doing all the heavy lifting manually. Unless you enjoy digging into IP addresses and web interfaces just to make a switch work, stay away. I purchased several devices thinking I finally found a good solution and I was completely wrong. Will likely get a refund for everything. ### 1/5 — Unreliable at best *2026-06-12* If you use these for your garage opener and garage lights, get used to getting locked in and spending time in the dark more often then you’d ever like. Overall just really spotty and unreliable, even with top WiFi equipment. I feel it used to work better accounted years ago. ### 1/5 — Nothing works *2026-05-23, version 1.8.3* So bad I thought the device was defective. Or Shelly was having an outage. I was excited to Get this working from what I was reading on Reddit and some YouTube videos. Went to micro center and grabbed one for my project. Got home wired it up downloaded the app and literally not a single component of this app is working properly. Including sign up and logging it. Signup put in my account details which was slow and laggy. Finally get that done and go to log in says my password is incorrect. Do a password reset login starts. Sits on the logging in page no response or change. Force close the app and re open its logged in. Ok great Go to verify my email get an error “something went wrong” Go to add the device I can find it on Bluetooth get to the step to connect to my WiFi put in the password but nothing happens. Eventually error pops up device time out. It just sits there circles looking for WiFi network and circles for the next button after putting in my WiFi password. Try again adding it by connecting to the on device WiFi that just comes up error saying device not found or the adding process just closes no error. Add a room to the home opens up type the name pick a picture hit save sits there for a second closes and no room was added. Went to my computer login to the Shelly cloud website add the room. Go back to my app no room shows up. No sync I mean come on guys Finally get the device connected it by connecting to the device AP and going to the onboard web interface and toggle on WiFi 2 and put in the password for my WiFi. Hit save and it connects to my network. That’s where I stopped for the night. Figures a 30 minute install to get it connected to power and hook up the relay and set up in the app would turn into an hours long battle. App is still not working properly next morning but I’ll try and see what I can do from the web interface without using the app today for day 2. ### 1/5 — Why do I have to signup to use the app? *2026-05-22* I was unable to use the app because it forces me to sign up before using it. I do not see any reason to do so. I just want to setup my devices and use the locally. Added a device that I cannot find anywhere, many screens doesn’t have how to go back, app has to be close and reopen, very easy to find the store and how to upgrade your plan but nothing else ### 1/5 — Widgets ont perdu les étiquettes *2026-04-25* Depuis cette dernière mise à jour, les widgets ont perdu leurs étiquettes, on ne sait plus sur la première page des widgets à quelle zone appartient chaque détecteur de température. Par ailleurs, il faudrait pouvoir aussi désactiver les boutons sur les dispositifs interrupteurs comme le Shelly 1 PM Gen 4. Depuis cette dernière version quand on rentre dedans, on a tendance à désactiver involontairement. ### 1/5 — louse app *2026-03-09* The app, after some hours of installation and using, it dead. Need to remove it and reinstall again for using a few hours! Looking for the replacement! Seule la puissance est disponible. Et puis il manque une caméra Shelly ou l’intégration d’une caméra compatible, pour compléter les dispositifs de surveillance. But the watch app is a bit basic, I’d love to see my real time power usage on it with the Shelly EM for example. ### 5/5 — Best product *2026-03-16, version 1.8.1* Best engineering ### 5/5 — Works great, but setup can tricky. *2026-03-10* App works perfectly, but take care to follow setup instructions carefully for each sensor. They can be tricky. The H&T sensor I was adding automatically defaulted out of Setup into Sleep Mode after 3 minutes. If you’re not quick, installation pauses until you active Setup and restart the process. Used it to monitor Grid Supply, Solar/Storage Supply and Actual Consumer Energy. With high electricity prices assigning tariffs I can get a very accurate daily price from system and is typically within 4p per day. Used to double check smart meter billing. With dual inverter systems addition CTs added for each, to better understand their performance and allow me to tweak inverters as required. Have the 25A smart relays as well so when power cut and EPS kicks in the specific high energy devices at home are disabled. Can be manually triggered via PB input,but normal trigger of relays done when Grid Supply Active and home receiving power. All done via LAN device actions. I would like some improvements so can give 11/10, but can only hope you will implement these:- 1. Tariff, allow a daily charge to be added which would complete tariff billing. My smart meter has recently had firmware update and it now does what I would like. 2. Update the PV-Setup, Solar option so the calculations and graphics allow for typical hybrid inverter systems where inverter has PV plus BAT (batteries). This setup is generally standard for UK. Currently setting for Balcony works but when comes to charging batteries from grid the calculation ignores CT polarity and all goes wrong at that point as it thinks house getting grid and solar supply rather than showing storage batteries charging. My next planned project is to take apart faulty anemometer, replace electronics and install new sensor to generate pulses supplied via its slotted rotor disc to Shelly Uni to calculate wind speed. Could buy anemometer and feed via analog input but where is the challenge. Very versatile kit 👍👍 ### 5/5 — Good scheduler but nothing deeper *2026-02-07* If you want a way to schedule your Shelly WiFi wall plug this app will do it. If you already have a controller, like Home Assistant hub, then this app won’t add anything. If you want to change plug defaults or do a firmware update this app won’t get you there - you’ll still need to open its configuration page using WiFi and the internet connection its AP creates. ### 5/5 — Well presented, well supported *2026-02-03, version 1.8.0* Very useful features, appears to do exactly what it’s told, with better analytics than some high street brands. There was an issue with an earlier version where it would reset the UI when contact with the shelly device was lost due to poor reception. This has been fixed and it’s rock solid now. While this app is for a device that is probably more often integrated into a full automation system, using this app standalone gives way more functionality than I have seen on anything comparable. ### 5/5 — Love how the system works and devices can be made the work together. *2025-12-28* A very easy system to use and program. Using for lights with wireless buttons. Timer for a pond pump. Operate and schedule watering system. Remote control lights from the phone. Im letzten Monat habe ich meinen Stromeingang noch mit einem 3-phasigen Leistungsmesser in der Pro-Version versehen, und meine PV-Anlage wird in den kommenden Tagen mit einem EM Mini ausgestattet; nachdem ich mittels Plug S schon ma die Balkon-PV eingebunden hatte: Gerade die Energie- & Rückmeistungsmessung ist wirklich atemberaubend detailliert und übersichtlich: großes Lob! Ich würde mir noch wünschen, dass man dem 3EM sagen kann, dass die gemessene negative Energie auf zb Phase 2 das PV-Gerät ist, ich grübele momentan nämlich noch, wie ich eine stimmige Auflistung der Verbraucher und Erzeuger hinbekomme, wenn die Einspeisung der PV hinter dem 3EM hängt; aber vielleicht muss ich mich noch ein bisschen einlesen- mein Test mit dem Plug s v2 ist nicht aussagekräftig, denn der kann keine rückleidtungsmessung einstellen, wie der v3.
