The additional documents are present when a job is slightly more complicated. ### 1/5 — Extremely unhelpful support – avoid wasting your time *2026-03-18, version 5.4.1* I had a mystery shopper survey marked “in review” and it took two weeks of chasing them multiple times to get any response. Support was unhelpful, slow, and kept asking for more info even though the issue wasn’t my fault. In the end after chasing them for TWO WEEKS, I had to be told by support my completed job was rejected because of circumstances beyond my control. Staff don’t follow up, and you’ll waste your time trying to get answers. Very disappointing. ### 5/5 — It’s not for the faint hearted! *2025-12-18* This work is head work and seriously annoying to do at times! Expect to feel a lot of pressure whilst undertaking a task I’ve managed a full time wage amongst these mystery shopping task type apps within London over the last 18 months, Shepper bringing in the most for me. However if you have a steady job or any employment you’re relatively happy being in to not switch to being a mystery shopper it’s very hard work and not always guaranteed. If you do want to try it and want to top up your income understand that for many of the first tasks it will not feel worth it not if you do it properly you will need to spend time researching and learning the resource materials just to prepare for a task you may need to spend leaning 1hr. But after a while you will know what’s required and what you have to do and you will just do it just remember to educate yourself on any updates to the literature staying active on the discord will help you do that and ensure you don’t mess up and end up failing a task. Like any work there are recessions to messing up just here you are a sole trader and carry that burden! Treat Shepper like a client not an employer as client that has needs and is fussy about its demands being met but will work with you if you show promise and put the effort into what you do… and yes some days you can make a quick £100 in five hours catching better paying tasks in close proximity! Others you can work 10 hrs and make £100! It’s not guaranteed work and it requires understanding and professionalism when going into business premises. Be ready to adapt and evolve. 97% won’t keep doing 2% wont like doing but will do because they can and the money is there 1% is a mythical creature! ### 3/5 — Not worth it + they don't care about you *2025-12-07* Expected durations for tasks quite deflated - you can spend 1h30 on a 45m task. They sometimes drop tasks that require you to do them within a couple hours but where is this same urgency when I ask for my money? Why in 2025 where I can send money across the world instantly am I waiting hours and days for a bank transfer of £20 or something. Not to mention only 3 manual withdrawals in a month, do you guys even want people to do work for you? The best bit is you break your back for them and they don't care to work with you - no leeway anywhere, it is how it is and deal with it, but atleast they're polite huh (most of the time). Earned £69 in first week of downloading. ### 1/5 — Not available in my country *2025-08-24* I was mad about this app because it wasn’t available in my country. It should be available everywhere. ### 1/5 — Fuming *2025-07-29, version 5.3.1* Awful they made the mistake due to bugs in their app then fail my job. So I wasted my time and money. ### 3/5 — So far still on the training *2025-05-23, version 5.2.6* Fairly disappointed, failed two training attempts and the first one was fair, I didn’t write notes and I have bad memory. Second one… I wrote notes on everything down and I got 89.7%… please give people some leniency!
