It starts to load and shuts down. I’m bummed because it was my wind down game before bed. ### 5/5 — My favorite game of all time! *2020-08-31, version 1.5.1* It’s impossible to say how long I’ve been playing this game. I first played the game from a floppy disk on my computer in DOS! When the windows version came out, my dad made me a program so I could get back to DOS to run my original version. When I found the iOS version a few years ago I was so thrilled to see the original DOS art and design! This game is addictive in the best possible way. It is an awesome challenge for keeping the eyes and mind sharp. I’ve never found another puzzle I enjoy as much. I do crossword, cryptogram, sudoku and more and NONE can beat Sherlock. Thanks from the bottom of my heart to the developer of this game for giving me countless hours of fun over the (literal) decades!! The different levels make it challenging, and toucan see your top 15 scores, so you’re always competing against yourself. Please fix this asap ### 5/5 — Great game. Hope you concentrate. *2018-03-16, version 1.5.1* Great game. Heck of a workout for my mind. Don’t like that I had to rebuy it. But to update to ad free and no in app purchases, the developer had to stop support for the original version. And honestly, several years of fun for the few dollars I am out is great. I recommend this game to everyone. Kids can play the 4x4 grid to learn basic logic with handicaps and hints. Adults can try their mind on 6x6 with no hints or handicaps and really push themselfs. I found this game over a decade ago on a win 95 computer with a “150 free games” cd. Then in 2011 I found the app. It’s 2017 and I bought zen. When I beat it I will buy the other versions. I was upset at first about rebuying the game but when the developer explained that he did it to get rid of in app purchases, I felt it was justified. But I would ask for ONE in app purchase. To spend under the total cost of the rest of the games combined to get ALL the puzzles in one app. Or sell a 5th version that is more expensive and has all the puzzles. Either way I will play them all. And here is a goal for you. 6x6 grid with no handicaps, no wrong move notifications, and only one try through it(no playing it after you beat it). 1:27. I got lucky and moved fast. Still don’t know how I managed it. And if you run out of 6x6 puzzles in less than a year, you truly are a puzzle god. ### 4/5 — Love the game, but... *2017-12-25, version 1.5.1* ...I bought the previous full version, thousands of games that I had not played yet, and then a decision was made to make a new app for the OS update, and now I have to buy it again. I have played EK software FOR DECADES. I believe in supporting the cause, but this decision was not entirely ethical, IMO. ### 5/5 — Yay a new version! *2017-07-16, version 1.5.1* I finally 'ran out' of games on Sherlock Ultra and grabbed this one for the first time. Love these games and the logic behind them. They never get too hard, and there's always a hint available -- just a hint! -- if you just don't see that one key move. Everett's games always work perfectly on my iPads. ### 5/5 — A Fun Thinker's Game! *2017-03-23, version 1.4.3* A chance to test your wits and not just your reflexes. With just a few rules and clues, there are thousands of puzzles to solve... without the need for an Internet connection. Now I am having a hard time closing this game without the home button. It has been a great run. Recently, due to some change on either the iPad IOS or Sherlock, the game does not appear to fit appropriately on my iPad. Most unfortunately, the min/max/close buttons block the upper left tilde - meaning you have no way to update that square. I have had to reinstall it several times because it quits on its own. I'd love it if there were more Everett Kaiser games available for iPad. In its IOS form it is the best game for solving the so called Einstein Puzzle.
