And they didn’t give me any reason for blocking, or they didn’t notify me that they had blocked me. And they are not replying to my emails. There is no warning, I work every day for Sherpa. And how can you just block me like that and stop me from earning money? But my friend, if you give me warning or give me a heads up, I will look for another job. Where are your ethics? Is this how you control the driver?? You seem to be unethical in all aspects of the work. ### 1/5 — PAYING LESS DAY BY DAY *2025-08-31, version 2.10.32* 10 kms dropoff, 30 mins drive, and you pay 13$? Sherpa is paying less and less as the cost of living rises. Sherpa makes driver wait for 30-40 mins every Woolworths delivery. 20 mins before pickup time and 20 mins after pickup time. And then they pay 9.57 $ sharp. They keep on giving you orders which are to be delivered in 20 mins, and then make us wait 40 mins, and give us late rates unfairly. Woolworths and Sherpa should Start taking responsibility. I think these companies will treat the drivers fairly, if they are dragged to the court. Untill then they are going to treat you as slaves. ### 2/5 — Operations *2025-08-03, version 2.10.28* Was using drive yellow before they merged. Started using Sherpa being a very poor and headache experience. Poor communication getting deactivated for minor things without even a warn or courtesy call first half way through another job. You will get deducted for damages before any investigation happens meaning payments will be delayed for weeks. Even after providing proof of every thing. You will get warnings on your profile for pretty much everything from being late to incorrectly taking a pod. Been warn you may end up delivering things long distance any if anything goes wrong not there way you will get deactivated and warning messages. Again leading to whole day gone to fight for reactivations. It’s becoming too much hassle compared to Uber or Didi, which are more flexible and straightforward. How come the cost of living is going up and you decrease the delivery fee? Do you pay for drivers registration of 900$ every year? Do you pay for the drivers fuel maintenance ? Do you pay for the drivers car maintenance?? What bout the time spent on the delivery?? Do you value the drivers time? Can you actually deliver your orders without the driver? Do you acknowledge that the driver is the crucial role for your business?? Yello and Sherpa together don’t have enough orders on the app because?? Run! ### 1/5 — Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Stay Away! *2025-05-14* I work as a delivery rider and occasionally did jobs with Sherpa. Let me be clear – this was one of the most pathetic and frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. I worked an entire day and earned $200, only for their so-called customer support to later call me and claim I delivered to the wrong address. Without any proof or valid reason, they shamelessly deducted $120 from my account. I delivered to the correct address, but the rep kept repeating the same garbage with zero evidence to back it up. And guess what? This wasn’t even the first time – it happened twice. Their processes are a joke. It honestly feels like a scam designed to rob riders of their hard-earned money. Disgusting company, pathetic support, and completely unethical behavior. I will NEVER work with Sherpa again and strongly warn every other rider – don’t waste your time or effort on this trash. Some deliveries ended up being usually 5-10 minutes late, which is not late in my professional standards book of service. There deliveries have an annoying timer that counts down even when waiting at the pick up, so your dammed if you do and dammed not to make much money with their 50cent surge pricing. This company has no common sense on understanding of the cost of living. Cool. I have a very bad experience with this delivery app . The lives chat or calling service centre take longer to reply while it takes lots of my time waiting to complete other jobs . Today I went to the shop to get my pick up items more than 1 hours before the store close , the store person called receiver they said they Already closed business hour. Sherpa said it was my fault and not paid for my job which when I accepted the job it’s said delivered by 8 pm . It is about 20km from my place each way . Staffs are so unprofessional, blame on me and not paid without any investigation. They have the slots to pay less money and make us more deliveries. In the slot, they give you deliveries in stacks..in 3 hours 12 jobs. But normally they give you 1 job per hour, if you are not on the slot. STEALING MONEY FROM DRIVERS. For Petbarn: He pays 6$ per delivery, even if the distance is 10-15kms. he pays 6$ for 0.5kms and 15kms too. No increase, only decreasing the fees. If the kilometers are less..he reduces..but if the kms are increased he doesnt increase the pay. And he makes us work after the slot time..and doesnt pays over time: This is being filed with fair works. All dealing staff are friendly and gives prompts action. Late fee is calculated accurately by Sherpa . Doesn’t they know I can’t break a long queue and just stand at the counter? Pat Lee is very unprofessional. He even gave verbal warnings that we don’t tolerate this behaviour. Listen Pat Lee, even we drivers don’t tolerate your toxic behaviour. For drivers - If you feel like you have to wait in queue for long, cancel the delivery, as you will only waste your time to wait for 20-30 minutes and do delivery of 20+ KG groceries in 40-50 minutes just to get 8$. But i would suggest sherpa team to please update your app for the night mode of iPhone because during the night time UI of maps doesn’t get changed to dark theme.
