Search function can rarely find what I type in. When going back from a restaurant page I have start all the way at the top again and scroll endlessly back to where I was. It doesn’t remember my sign in details when I return to the app and have sign in each time. Overall it needs a better UX/UI design and I hope they can make it better. There are better delivery apps that are better designed, user friendly and with cheaper delivery fees. ### 4/5 — Good to have *2018-10-21* If you don't understand Mandarin, it's a viable alternative to ordering take out in China. The restaurants available tend to be on the higher end of the price spectrum, but at least there's a low minimum order & the delivery fees are reasonable. The only caveats are that a Chinese phone number is required, and international cards connected to WeChat don't work, which can be major hurdles. ### 3/5 — If the place is closing, please warn me *2018-10-04, version 2.5.0* I have often placed an order and then been told the restaurant is closed. If it's closed or about to close, please warn me before I go thru the menu and place the order. Also the app does not remember me. If I search on my computer, then later try to search on my cell phone, I have to type in my name and password again in full. That's inconvenient and unnecessary. I would like the app to remember me each time I use it regardless of whether I have signed in on my computer. I hope Sherpas will keep trying to add new restaurants. More variety would be welcomed. When I call Sherpas on the phone they are very courteous and helpful.... Can’t be bothered to go out to dinner on first night here. Decided to order food to my room. 1), difficult to create and account without a local mobile to receive a verification code. 2), address not found. 2 sessions to online help finally sorted that out. 3). App doesn’t accept payment by American Express or give the potion to pay cash on delivery. I’ve spent over an hour and a half and still no food. Got the credit but when I tried to use it, they took it away as if it was already used. The delivery guy couldn’t go back to get it for 45 min. They will send the order to the restaurant as soon as it is placed and your order can spend another hour just sitting their in the box, getting cold before they finally find a delivery person to bring it to you. Obviously no cancellation is available. I can’t order food from these restaurants with other apps. It would cost me more money to take a taxi there and back as well. Sometimes you want that far away food, but you just want to stay at home. Sherpa’s basically saved me and my husband’s life’s. Before we knew there is an app, we usually order from the website which I also think it’s very convenient but the APP is just amazing!!! We love the shifus in orange uniforms. They are so nice and are always with cute smiles when they deliver food to us. Good wishes to Sherpa’s!! My major complaint is that the search function is terrible when looking for a specific entrée or style. Even if you search for the name exactly as the restaurant lists it, you get zero matches or something from a different area.
