## What is Shesh Besh Club?

For over two thousand years, backgammon has been played across the Mediterranean and beyond: in the coffeehouses of Istanbul, Tehran, Tel Aviv, and Beirut, over tea and friendly arguments. Around those tables the game is called shesh besh, every roll of the dice has a name, and every position has a lesson.
