It won’t let me change the phone number code.  I live in USA +1 and it won’t let me put in my number for the states

Can’t get to work 
It ask me what what my phone is and I don’t know what it is asking for because it’s not asking for my phone number or anything so more or less I’m stuck and it can’t proceed to do anything else so I’m giving this app 1 star for now
