### 4/5 — A annoying glitch

*2022-12-26, version 1.3.4*

Every single time when I watch an ad the volume gets muted and it’s gotten annoying

### 2/5 — Good at first

*2022-07-12, version 1.3.4*

This game was very fun at first and addicting but after a couple new shibas it fully crashes very big waste of storage. If you get it i reccomend that you delete it when you get four shibas.

### 4/5 — Looks charming, but how do you turn off the ads?

*2021-09-17, version 1.3.4*

It's a fun, cute, silly little game, but what I want to know is... how do I turn off the ads?

### 4/5 — Here’s what I think…

*2021-06-04, version 1.3.4*

I’ve had this game since it came out, it’s 2021 so, two-ish years? I will admit in that time I’ve played it maybe once every couple months. It sits in my game library with its one, red, notification dot, taunting me to come check on my shibas.

In the time I’ve had it I’ve collected 7 Shibas in total, with 5 of them at level 2. I will say that this game has a handful of flaws, for one the leveling system grants too little exp per trip. It takes an entire day to level a Shiba up by one level, or the equivalent of 10 ads, or the equivalent of a ton of coins. At least there’s a variety of ways to level your shibas, but it just takes too long.
(3 Shiba trips, 20 minutes, is 1 hour, that gets you less than a quarter of a Shiba meter full. If you check frequently 1 Shiba level equals about 4 hours, if you don’t miss a single trip)

Now that, that’s out of the way… On to the gem system. I have pretty much no complaints. I’ve read quite a few reviews criticizing the gem system, but honestly, you get gems weekly and you can convert your stacks of coins into gems.
It reminds me of the gem conversion in KleptoCats, it works, especially since it’s very easy to horde coins, (because you really have to grind for Shiba exp.)

Finally, my compliments. This game has some
amazing art and wonderful movie references. I enjoy seeing what my Shibas drag in next. It’s art style reminds me of the other hyperbeard games, playful, cute, and a bit funny. (Can’t forget quirky)

The game seems to have similar mechanics to KelptoCats, KelptoDogs, and KelptoCorns in that they all have a similar currency conversion system. It makes playing all of the games easier, since coin collection (hoarding) takes priority, you can also play all of them simultaneously, checking one after another while waiting on one game.

It seems to be a ploy to keep the user interested in the games… haha, anyways,

Shiba Force has evolved quite a bit since it’s launch, like most hyperbeard games I can only play the mini games for so long before I switch apps, but I’d say it’s a well-balanced game.

This app is amazing I feel like a superhero playing this game but sadly I had to delete the app for space because I wanted another app but this app is wonderful if you’re reading this review you should download this app because you’ll have an awesome experience and it’s free love it now when I’m older i really want to be a superhero wonder why you can collect coins and collect pups isn’t that amazing and thank you for reading my review so that’s all I have to say about this app bye bye!

### 3/5 — Did they really put roses sword in the game?

*2020-08-26, version 1.3.4*

Ok so the art is really cute but.. I think they were trying to design rose Quartz’s sword from Steven Universe, but it looks kinda bad. Also, you barely get to do anything! I was hoping you’d at least get to customize your character, but NOPE! TIME TO GET SOME RANDOM DOG TO GO ON A “MISSION” WHILE WE LOOK AT THE SHIBASE FOR 2 SECONDS!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Avoid this app

*2022-07-27, version 1.3.4*

Every time you open the app it check to see what’s in your clipboard.

### 1/5 — Waste of Time

*2022-06-29, version 1.3.4*

Absolute waste of time. There’s no balance to the game, you send out 2 Shibes at a time and wait hours for meager results. They level to do….uh nothing really. You don’t have any sort of gameplay aside from idling and tapping a few buttons. The other reviews I suspect are fake. “Pre-ordered this game and love it!” Excuse me… what? You pre-ordered a free mobile game that is barely a game?

### 1/5 — PLEASE READ

*2021-05-05, version 1.3.4*

I just downloaded the game and the third mission I spews doing. When the treasure box came, I couldn’t tap the claim button and. Even redonloaded IT. So my opinion I wouldn’t get it

### 1/5 — Fun game then......

*2020-03-08, version 1.3.2*

I have to say the start of the game was fine and enjoyable but later on in the game there’s absolutely no story whatsoever so now all you do is wait for you Shiba to get back from the missions and all you can do while waiting is play “fun” mini games and that’s actually all you do for the rest of the freaking game! Developer please change the game this is my reason why I am giving this game one star! Change the dang game please!

### 1/5 — Takes advantage

*2019-11-24, version 1.2.5*

Very cute style, however as a few other have stated, it’s very hard to play without investing, which I can’t do.

I find it ridiculous that you have to pay gold to COMPLETE quests that give you said gold.
The mini games aren’t even good enough to be labelled as “half assed”, as they give you around one gold per 10 seconds of gameplay, if you can even call it gameplay.

Build on timings - don’t go from 5 second quests to 6-10 minute ones, carefully build up to keep the player interested. Give them a reason to keep playing. Show them how COOL looking and fun the collectibles are. 30 seconds. 45 seconds. 60 seconds. 120 seconds. Don’t just push on past 5 minutes, you’re prioritising pay2win players and shoving free2play down the drain.

And for the love of god, PLEASE either remove the fee for being able to complete “quests” or hear out my suggestion below to help out newer players (as I will be deleting this game):

The “100 coins to complete” pop up doesn’t show very often so whenever I’d click complete mission it would just take me to the store page which really frustrated me as it didn’t give a reason regarding why it was happening. If you’re going to keep the fee then at least give a notification stating you can either get coins from the store or from minigames.

Make more minigames or make them more enjoyable. Or even make them give more coins (5? One coin per “dig” action of Shiba game? One per kaiju, 5 per gold cat?). It’ll feel a lot less gruelling.

Minigame ideas could include:

Candy crush style game with Shiba heads,
Quiz questions (dog-based? Doesn’t have to be),
Connect 4 shibas (vs AI)
Feed the Shiba (dragging food that pops up into shibas mouth)
Wash the Shiba
Shiba run (endless runner, swipe to avoid obstacles)
Etc.

You could add tokens that regenerate every half an hour/ten minutes to use on the bigger games such as the candy crush style one or the Shiba run to make it so players don’t take advantage of large rewards.

Also consider adding coin pop ups in the Shiba headquarters players can tap to get coins if you haven’t already (I haven’t experienced any if they do exist, remember to remind the player these exist after adding so they hang around more).

It’s clear that the artists are very talented which automatically makes the mobile game very appealing, but the need to buy things to gain traction is insane. I get this kind of game is easy to make as devs just copy and paste the code over from another collection game and hire new artists but come on!
It has a lot of potential but for now it’s just not great. Sorry.

### 1/5 — COMO RECUPERAR MEU JOGO ANTIGO?

*2019-10-22*

Tive que resetar meu celular e perdi todo o processo que tinha no jogo...

**Developer response:** Hi, please send us an email to hola@hyperbeard.com, so we can help you.

### 1/5 — From Something Great to Something Bad

*2019-08-18*

This game is the result of taking everything that made kleptocats fun, and then completely removing it. You can’t really interact with anything in this game, you just sen out your shibas (which cost a substantial amount of coin) and they bring back items. The items, unlike kleptocats, show very little imagination. You also cannot trade coins for gems, which would be really helpful because each shiba cost more and more money. Also the only mini game that they give you is very boring.

If I had to sum up this game I would say it lacks imagination, and is just relying the name of the company to get downloads.

**Developer response:** We're sorry you aren't enjoying the game. Could you provide us with a bit more feedback on how we can improve it?

### 1/5 — Great Art, boring premise

*2019-08-14, version 1.0.3*

I LOVE hyperbeards art but man is this game boring. It’s a kleptocats clone with less charm. There’s only one minigame ans the wait times are incredibly long. Sending your shibas out costs coins too which is pointless imo. This app just exists to be opened, tap a few things, then close again. There’s nothing to do aside from just sending your shibas out.
At least with kleptocats you could exchange gold for gems so collecting everything seems fairly feasible. I was genuinely disappointed with this release.

### 1/5 — Lots of problems....

*2019-08-10, version 1.0.3*

This game is great but it has many flaws. I have read reviews to see if anyone else had this bug but whenever I get the diamond it doesn't let me collect it. I play on an iPad 6 but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Please fix this glitch because me and other people really want to get past the tutorial. Thank you for your time.

### 1/5 — Glitches!!

*2019-08-07, version 1.0.3*

I didn’t hesitate to get this app but 5 seconds into this game it closes itself down and takes me out of the app. Please fix this because I would love to play this game because it looks so awesome!

*2023-02-24, version 1.3.4*

### 5/5 — One of the cutest games

*2021-12-10, version 1.3.4*

A well-made game, but in the beginning there is a lot of waiting around. I’d quite like it if it was an afk game as well as what it is now! The graphics are impossibly cute as well as the audio. A good game to have in general

### 5/5 — Such an original idea that’s not too cute

*2021-09-08, version 1.3.4*

Finally a game about shibas that doesn’t drown you in cuteness and actually gives you a nice plot and a simplistic idea which is so satisfying
