I can set time off for a year in advance but can’t delete them all in one lot and have to individually go through and delete each one, which is incredibly time consuming and problematic when life changes. You also can’t edit them once set, must delete and fully redo. I have struggled with this issue multiple times now. ### 3/5 — Great app could be better with calendar crossing *2025-08-14* This is a brilliant app. It’s great for Work purposes however it would be even better if it would connect to my Google calendar so then I don’t have to jump out of ShiftCare and go over to my Google calendar and see what I’ve got going on that day before I apply for a shift and vice versa I’m constantly jumping in and out of both apps just to see what I’ve got going on and then I’ve gotta go back into it And what not but then honestly better as well as if the shifts that you applied for showed up on the job board as well so you can see if you’ve already got a shift on the day that you’re looking at other shifts would be great don’t know ### 3/5 — Cant delete unavailability *2025-08-06, version 2.16.5* ATM with this update our company has told us we can’t delete unavailability it’s really annoying ### 3/5 — Unavailability *2025-08-01* The new leave availability needs to be fixed. It is a major step backwards and takes much longer to fill out. Also if you put leave in and want to change availability it is not possible to do yourself. Very annoying update. All our staff members are very annoyed. If u messed up fixing ur availability and u accidentally submit, u cant edit it out and fix it. You have to ask help from the one fixing the roster. How bothersome. Last time it was easy as 10secs. Availability fix. No dramas. Hopefully they’ll revert it back. I like thats they put it on the side tab and there reoccurring option. However, the service provider needs to adjust some care categories that are more relevant and practical to th client. For example, if that client dont take medication regularly, there should be something else for this client. Small things that would be helpful if added would be when a shift is allocated it advises somewhere who allocated it, makes it easier to communicate with the right person. Additionally a tick or writing on the week view against the shift advising/resembling its been reviewed & approved or reviewed & needs additional info i.e. receipt. This would assist with following up with management if shift time hasn’t been altered to suit notes. It’s not excepting my email and password. Not using this app for my business. I get no notification when my shift has changed and only 15 minutes before my shift starts. Way too late to do anything if I've overlooked a shift. The mileage displays in a way that is not easy to read. It doesn't automatically add the total for me. ### 2/5 — It’s handy, but need more improvement *2024-01-16* When notification of new shift comes up, I can not see any updates in notification field which poped up just second through shiftcare app. To check new notifications, I have to remove all previous app pages I opened just before then open the shiftcare app again. It’s really annoying. New shift notification sometimes pops up more than 5-10 times in a sec. After checking first notification then I have to delete old opened pages then open the new pages to check the newest notification. Because of this, I lost a chance to take enough shift. Please contact our customer support team on support@shiftcare.com, they are always happy to help! ### 2/5 — Needs improvement - won’t save the totals of my expenses *2023-09-27, version 2.10.28* the totals of my expenses aren’t saving which is really stuffing me up. pls fix it as i use it for work and it’s affecting my pay. ### 2/5 — Couple of changes would make it five star *2021-12-26* Issues looking at past dates to see hours worked/approved, and when I go forward to upcoming dates, I have to close the whole app to get it back to current date. Also, if there was a way to sync work dates to google calendar this would go a long way to assisting in family planning for future events. Otherwise, this is a clean and simple interface. ### 3/5 — good but can be better *2026-03-20, version 3.2.6* The app is generally good and easy to use, but i don't understand why i have to create a new email in the case where i am working with multiple companies. ### 3/5 — ShiftCare *2026-02-20* I find ShiftCare is ok, The new updates has made things easier and a bit better but one downfall I have found is that when you log the travel Klms you can’t put a decimal point. For example a participant is 900 metres from the office or say 1.6 away we either have to round up or down because we can’t put the exact Klms travelled. Currently, when shifts are changed, updates don’t always sync in real time with Google Calendar, which can be a bit confusing. It would also be great if there was an option to directly connect and sync with Apple Calendar, as many users rely on it for daily scheduling.
