## What is Shikaku?

Shikaku is a logic puzzle designed for iPhone and iPad.

The rule is simple: find the shape that fits each clue, then assemble all the areas to complete the grid with a unique solution. Each area must contain one clue and exactly as many cells as its value.

Shikaku brings together 370 grids in two complementary collections: First edition with 130 levels and Second Edition with 240 levels.

Each edition offers six themed campaigns with no subthemes: Main, Intersections, Edge Traps, Braid, Large Areas, and Contradictions. Follow the longer Main path or choose a specific family of reasoning patterns.

Play directly by touch on grids adapted to the screen. Full-screen mode preserves the grid proportions, and the interface is optimized for portrait use.

Unfinished games are saved locally and restored automatically, even after the app is closed. Restarting a level clears only its unfinished attempt. Resetting a campaign does not affect other campaigns or settings.

When you open a completed level, you can view its filled grid in read-only mode or replay it with an empty grid. Replaying keeps your previous best results.

During gameplay, elapsed time, covered cells, and mistakes remain visible. The timer begins with the first gameplay action, so it measures the run when play actually starts. The updated scoring powers the level-complete review, global and per-level statistics, and practice analysis without mixing historical results.
