## What is Shimai Map?

Your things. Their place. In a photo.

Shimai Map helps you remember where you put things using storage photos and markers. Search for a cable, tool or seasonal item to see the room, the cabinet and its exact spot in your saved photo.

PHOTO MARKERS
Take a photo of a shelf or open drawer, or select one from Photos. Tap the photo when adding an object to mark where it belongs. You can also keep records without photos.

FROM ROOM TO BOX
Build a hierarchy: cabinet, drawer, then a box inside. Object details show the full storage path and highlight the marker.

SEARCH YOUR RECORDS
Search object names, notes and storage paths. Search handles Japanese kana, character-width and letter-case differences.

KEEP PLACES UP TO DATE
Edit names, notes, locations and markers. Replacing a storage photo clears old markers while keeping your object records.

PHOTO-INCLUSIVE BACKUP
Export your photos and records as a JSON file, then import it when needed. Import adds missing records without overwriting existing ones.

TRY THE SAMPLE
Explore temporary sample storage without changing your personal library. Sample photographs are AI-generated illustrations.

Free. No ads, purchases or account required. Photos and records stay on your device. This app does not automatically recognize objects or track lost possessions. Update records when you move your things, and export a backup before changing devices or deleting the app.
