Now a couple months later they keep defaulting back to white. How does that make sense. Most of the time the settings aren’t saved by the lights and the app doesn’t remember the settings after leaving the screen. And it’s been so long since this app has been updated, it’s probably safe to assume that it’s been abandoned ### 1/5 — PLEASE update app *2024-12-09, version 1.0.30* PLEASE update the app. It is frustrating that we spent so much money on these a couple of years ago only to have the app be so terrible now. I have my lights for a few years and the app worked great… this year I got them out for Halloween display and the app keeps shutting down, I finally got it to stay up and running. Set my light, ( haven’t even done them all yet) and as soon as the phone screen goes dark, the lights disconnect! Even if I walk to far away from the lights, they disconnect and I have to reprogram them. Not cool! I really needed this lights to work. ### 1/5 — Features are there as long as you don’t use them. *2024-10-19, version 1.0.30* There are things that you can do for individual lights that you cannot do when you group 2 or more likes together. Also in the group options, if you haven’t created group, there is a lot of useful controls, but as soon as you create a group those useful controls just disappear. like creating your own scenes. As soon as you make a group you can’t even set your own colors for it to fade between. ### 1/5 — Timers do not work! *2024-10-19* Let’s keep this simple. Timing does not work on in any capacity. They work on 24-hour and even factoring that in the timing does not work. Lights are turned on before they should be on. They’re full white and not the color meant to be set. It’s been tedious this season (2024) and I deeply regret purchasing 4 more. Lights = great. Software = trash. Don’t trust the timer. Be ready to turn them on and off every time you need them in a season (where they’re plugged into power… not an issue on a timer where the power comes on or off. Software time is WAY off and unreliable. ### 1/5 — Makes and outgoing call *2024-10-10, version 1.0.30* This app makes and outgoing call when enabled? Why does it need to do this? Seems very shady ### 1/5 — App Crashes Upon Load *2024-05-17, version 1.0.30* I deleted and reinstalled the app which finally got it to load but as soon as I declined the use of my microphone, it crashed. There is absolutely no reason why lights NEED to listen to me all the time. I have many of these lights and the only way to control them is with this app so please continue to support this. What the hack ### 2/5 — Need more group controls *2024-01-11* I purchased a package of 4 lights relying on the app. While I can set certain group controls, I cannot control scene or colors for the group- which means there’s no way to keep them in sync. This seems to be an app issue, not a hardware issue.
