Konto anlegen und Anlage hinzufügen ging nur in Kombination mit dem PC. Mit der App alleine war es einfach nicht machbar und ich war extrem genervt. Aber nachdem das alles erledigt war, bin ich sehr zufrieden. Bin schon seit 2022 Growatt Kunde und habe mich schon mit allen möglichen Problemen mit den WR und dem WLAN Zirkus !auseinandergesetzt. Direkte Hilfe kann man leider nicht erwarten aber ich habe den Eindruck das die Konkurrenz (bei denen auch nicht alles zuverlässig läuft) den Jungs von Growatt langsam mal die Augen öffnet! Nach diversen Mails und anderen Kontaktversuchen habe ich den Eindruck das mein System mittlerweile gut und zuverlässig läuft. Mit dem System welches sich langsam aber stetig über 1-Phasige WR bis hin zum Hybrid WR mit 20 KW Speicher und Smartmeter entwickelt hat bin ich seit geraumer Zeit deutlich besser zufrieden als früher. Habe mich stets als Versuchsperson gefühlt in dem mir unausgereifte Updates auf WR und über die App. angeboten worden sind bzw. aufgespielt wurden. Mittlerweile erkennt der WR wenn die Batt leer ist und die BMS schickt die Batt. brav ins Standby etc. etc. ! Die Daten in der App sind zuverlässiger und nachvollziehbarer geworden. Alles im allem bestimmt noch Luft nach oben aber ein guter Anfang der wirklich hoffen lässt. Also GROWATT nicht nachlassen und weiter optimieren und verbessern! It worked (with problems) through 2022 and 2023. Occasionally it might work in 2024, but mostly it didn’t. And it hasn’t worked at all in 2025. If I could use another app to monitor my electricity usage and solar power consumption I would. This is a complete and utter waste of time. The only consolation is that from those first two years I do know that I’m saving money. If you have the option (which I didn’t) of using another app, then do so. This is just a complete waste of time as it just doesn’t work and every time it’s updated it wipes out the previous usage info (when it was working). Update Feb 2026 - still doesn’t work. Every time this app is updated it wipes out your previous records. If you get this to work for you make sure you never ever update it. I only keep this on my phone now in the hope that one day it will start working again. It’s got all my info on it, but according to this I didn’t generate any electricity in the last 2 years. It last worked in January 2024. Since then, it has not recorded anything from my solar electricity supply. Update again. August 2026. Okay, I’ve just seen some four and five star reviews from May 2026 wondering why all the bad reviews. Well, here I am in August 2026, the app has just updated a few days ago. It is currently showing zero. Absolutely nothing recorded during the hottest summer we’ve had in decades. Even looking at the yearly figures it only shows figures for 2022, 2023, and barely anything for 2024. Apparently in 2025 my solar panels didn’t generate any electricity or so far in 2026. Ich habe zuerst versucht, alles selbst einzurichten, womit ich relativ weit kam, aber optimal, habe ich es nicht hinbekommen. Dann habe ich alles gelöscht. Wollte von vorne anfangen, was dann gar nicht mehr funktioniert hat. Also habe ich den Support eingeschaltet, der mich Schritt für Schritt unterstützt hat. Nun ist alles eingerichtet, wie ich es mir vorstelle. Dank Shelly Smartmeter erreiche ich beinahe Nulleinspeisung. Es gibt in der Übersicht noch einen Anzeigefehler bezüglich der aktuellen Erzeugung (aktuelle Leistung und am aktuellen Tag erzeugte Energie) - hier wird jeweils eine Null angezeigt. Das lässt sich aber an anderer Stelle ablesen. Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden. edit: nun, ein paar Tage später funktioniert auch plötzlich die Übersicht perfekt, daher ändere ich meine Bewertung von 4 auf 5 Sterne 🤩 ### 5/5 — Very Happy *2026-07-19, version 8.5.1.1* I have been using the ShinePhone 1.0 app for well over a year now and am very happy with the ease of use and monitoring of my system. I am located in Middle Tennessee and have monitored my system from as far west as Hawaii, as far northwest as Massachusetts. And as far north as Ohio. While I have three es5000’s and they all are similarly inverting from separate strings, I only have one data logger. Whatever the data logger reads, I multiply times three and that generally is my daily production. I too wonder about the low ratings. I’m currently running a growatt spf6000 es plus linked to the shine pro app. I’ve had no issues with reading the data. All seems like and accurate. Decent reporting on grid input, battery SOC and usage. Has about a 2-3 minute delay sometimes on the main display screen, when I flick from grid input to battery production, however the graphs at the bottom are all accurate as hell. So I went and bought the one with Ethernet cable. And that worked out of the box. The real problem with connecting with WiFi is it can feel a little daunting especially for those who are not tech savvy. But ShinePhone app works very, I have gained so much insight on what my panels are generating. The app is very user friendly too. I truly and genuinely love my system. The app is fantastic. I’ve been using for almost a year and it’s so capable and informative. The only thing I’d add is the Alexa or Siri integration and probably an automated notification with the summary of the day production other than the CSV reports on the email.
