Can’t create a site, not add equipment. Seems to have a lot of bugs.

I was forced to switch to this app yesterday when my inverter firmware updated.  So far so good.  Unfortunately, this app only allows me to see what my system is doing and to change the Control Mode.  No other settings are available.    How do I configure my inverter and check the other settings?

This app doesn’t have half the options the old app did. You could go in and look at each leg and see what everything was doing . This new app is so basic it’s horrible compared to old app

Not able to log in no codes; however, it seems the shine phone app has also been disabled… been like this since the 2nd of January.  Ugg. No info from company other than a pop up on the shine phone app in broken English that makes no sense.  They need a better customer service and translator.

The worst thing Growatt did to their customers who own the min 11400 inverter is force them to use the shiner app over Shine phone app.  

This app doesn’t allow you to do anything with the settings, that the website version allows. It’s more for just monitoring, but it seems like every day I have to reset my phone because it gets stuck thinking. A bug that it’s had since the beginning and still hasn’t been fixed. 

I probably use the website version more than the app just because of the freezing. 

If it wasn’t for the freezing, I could probably deal with the fact that I have to use the website to adjust the settings, but I’m giving it two stars because I’ve had it for months in the freezing still hasn’t been fixed. Probably a common issue with most iPhones I would assume.

Roll out poor, did not recognize existing account and migrate profile.  Code step in new account sequence a non starter.  Former app still working.  Web portal works, but history data is disappearing!

Well i am happy we have something that works, the Shiner web site seems to have all the options that is intended for the Shiner app, on my iPad and Phone i only see 3 out of the 5 navigation options at the bottom of the app, and i only see Solar and Load , the grid is not showing in 1.1.4, it should to show up in version 1.1.1 of the Shiner app, so they fix something is broken other things, overall i only use the Shiner App to monitor only and the Shiner Website to make configurations changes, with that i am happy overall.

This is Growatt’s new app after switching from ShineTools commissioning app. This new app is more intuitive and feels easier to commission and monitor than the old one.
