## What is Shinkai Sky?

Most weather apps go one of two wrong ways. They drown you in tabs, ads, and a ten-day grid you rarely act on, or they strip themselves so bare the data you actually need is gone.

Shinkai Sky takes a third path: calm and beautiful on the surface, genuinely data rich underneath, and focused on the part of the forecast you actually live in, which is today and the next 24 hours.

A quiet glance up front: one big temperature, today's curve, sunrise and sunset, and a small daily line under the weather, sometimes about the day outside, sometimes just a little lift. Deeper hourly trends one tap down: temperature, wind and gusts, sun and clouds, humidity, and UV, from 24 hours ago to 24 hours ahead, with now always centered.

It even tells you what to wear: how many layers, and whether to bring sun cover or a rain shell.

The scene at the top is drawn from the current conditions and the time of day: clear afternoons, golden hour, rain, fog, a starlit night.

WHAT IT LEAVES OUT
No ten-day grids you will not read. No ads. No accounts or sign-ups. No push notifications.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no analytics, no trackers. Your precise device location is requested only when you tap Use My Location. For any city you view, its coordinates are sent only to fetch that forecast, are not logged or stored on a server, and are never sold. The small daily line is chosen on your device from a fixed set written into the app, so nothing about it is sent anywhere. Full details are in the privacy policy.
