## What is Shinphony?

Shinphony is a workspace for your remote servers on iPhone and iPad. Connect directly over SSH, keep servers in separate terminal tabs, and work with files, Git and development websites alongside your shell.

START FREE
- Save up to 3 servers and use 2 terminal tabs across all servers.
- Connect using SSH keys or passwords, with jump-host support.
- Work in tmux sessions with touch scrolling and text selection.
- Upload, download, preview and edit remote files over SFTP.
- Save downloaded files using the iOS share sheet.
- Preview HTTP development websites through SSH, even when the website is not directly reachable from your phone.
- Compose a per-tab text draft before inserting it into Terminal. Insert does not automatically press Enter.
- Use Mosh with compatible servers for resilient remote connections.
- Keep credentials in platform secure storage.

OPTIONAL SHINPHONY PRO
A one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks unlimited saved servers and terminal tabs, a visual Git workspace, terminal attachments, screenshot editing, advanced local copy cleanup and optional task notifications.

Upload a screenshot or file from Terminal and insert its remote path. Crop, rotate, draw, add arrows or cover sensitive areas before uploading. Capture the visible page in SSH web preview and turn it into annotated feedback. Review the image and destination before confirming the upload; originals are not overwritten.

Review Git status, diffs and history; stage or unstage changes. Clean up selected output by joining wrapped lines, removing quote prefixes and repairing split links, with an editable preview before copying.

TASK NOTIFICATIONS
Set up the optional background service on a supported SSH host after reviewing and accepting the installation. Follow real installation progress and check host status without reinstalling. The host downloads signed service updates independently; the app does not need to maintain a background SSH connection for alerts.

Request a notification when a supported agent task genuinely completes, fails or needs your attention. Notifications can include a short output preview and task/session information. Rich context and precise navigation currently support tmux with Codex on macOS/Linux. Tap to reconnect to the saved host and validated tmux destination, reusing a matching tab where possible. Agent integration, host connectivity and system permission are required. Delivery is best effort, not a guaranteed monitoring service.

No subscription and no Shinphony account. Restore Purchases is available on the Shinphony Pro page. Basic SSH, ordinary copy/paste and Files transfers remain free. Copy cleanup and screenshot editing run on your device; there is no AI rewriting or API-key setup.

Shinphony is a client, not a hosting service. You need a reachable server and permission to access it. SSH, SFTP and Mosh connect directly to your configured servers. Optional notifications use a Potafree relay and Apple's push service, with purchase verification. Task/session information and up to six terminal lines may pass through these services and appear on the lock screen. Do not include secrets in task output. SSH credentials and SFTP uploads are not sent to the notification relay.

Web preview supports HTTP destinations over SSH, not HTTPS forwarding or a VPN. Screenshot capture covers the visible viewport, not a full scrolling page. Mosh requires mosh-server and reachable UDP ports. The host notification service has platform and agent requirements; see the setup guide.

The native macOS and Windows editions are complimentary and require no activation or iOS purchase.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-28

More room for your projects, with a more comfortable interface.

• A compact, single-row SSH web preview toolbar keeps the page in focus.
• Open a remote address, then tap the SSH address chip whenever you need to edit or reconnect.
• Back, Forward, screenshot capture and connection actions stay close at hand.
• A clearer server editor makes SSH key selection and import easier on iPhone.
• Deleting a saved server now requires confirmation.
• Task notification setup has clearer progress, recovery and ready states.
• Improved iPad notification layouts, large-text support, tab accessibility and theme contrast.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-27

A more comfortable workspace on iPhone and iPad.

- A redesigned iPad layout with a collapsible server sidebar and compact Terminal, Files, Git and Web navigation.
- More breathing room around terminal content on both iPhone and iPad.
- Four coordinated app and terminal themes: VS Code Light Modern, Solarized Light, Shinphony Dark and Nord.
- Clearer server forms, more consistent status colors and simpler selected-tab styling.
- Improved keyboard behavior when switching workspaces and clearer SSH jump-host authentication messages.

Your existing Pro purchase and task notification setup continue to work.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-24

More useful task notifications, with less setup.

- Set up supported agent notifications directly from your connected server. The signed host service downloads on the server, with installation progress and clearer status checks.
- For supported tmux + Codex sessions, notifications include the task/session context and a short terminal preview. Open an alert to return to the matching session, reusing an existing tab when possible.
- Files and Git remember their working directories for each supported tmux session.
- Improved notification setup, reconnection handling and service-update visibility.
- If a notification target expires, keep SSH connected so you can select an existing session. Reconnecting no longer replays an old notification route.
- Fixed iOS smart punctuation changing command-line double hyphens and straight quotes in Terminal and Compose.

Task notifications require Pro, notification permission and host setup. Delivery is best effort. Existing one-time Pro purchases remain valid.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-17

New in 1.0.2

- Crop, rotate and annotate screenshots before uploading them to your server with Pro. Add arrows, drawings or solid covers without changing the original image.
- Capture the visible page in SSH web preview and turn it into annotated feedback with Pro.
- Compose text and image references in a per-tab draft, then insert when ready. Shinphony does not automatically press Enter.
- Get optional Pro task-completion and attention notifications without keeping SSH open. Pair your task host using the setup guide; no Shinphony account is required.
- Navigate a cleaner mobile workspace with compact, draggable terminal tabs and a simpler menu.
- Open, cancel and disconnect web previews more clearly, save web projects, and review a privacy-conscious diagnostic summary when troubleshooting.
- Improved cancelled web-request handling and error messages, including media-preview workflows.
- Fixed touch scrolling in mouse-enabled full-screen terminal apps inside tmux, and improved vertical web-preview scrolling without accidental sideways navigation.

Pro remains a one-time purchase. Basic SSH, tmux, ordinary copy/paste and file uploads/downloads remain free.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-12

Preview development websites inside Shinphony through SSH.

- Open HTTP links from the terminal with Preview via SSH.
- Use the Web tab to browse a remote development site, with back/forward, refresh and reconnect.
- Improved recognition and copying of links wrapped across tmux terminal rows.
