## What is ShinTravel Iran?

ShinTravel Iran is an offline Persian phrasebook built for real travel moments in Iran.

Open the app, choose a situation, search a phrase, show it in large text, copy it, or have the device speak it out loud. It focuses on practical phrases for hotels, airports, Tehran metro, taxis, ride-hailing pickup points, restaurants, cafes, local dishes, greetings, numbers, dates, and emergencies.

Designed for Japanese travelers, each phrase includes Japanese, English, Persian, and pronunciation support so you can communicate quickly without opening a general dictionary or depending on a network connection.

Features:

- Offline phrase data
- Japanese, English, and Persian phrase display
- Pronunciation reading support for Persian phrases
- Search across Japanese, English, Persian, and readings
- Favorites for phrases you use often
- Large display mode for showing your phone to local staff
- Copy button
- Persian speech playback on the device when supported
- Iran-specific phrases for airports, metro, taxis, restaurants, hotels, local food, and emergencies
- Local dishes such as kebab koobideh, ghormeh sabzi, dizi, fesenjan, zereshk polo, tahdig, ash reshteh, mirza ghasemi, bastani, doogh, saffron tea, and gaz

ShinTravel Iran does not require login and does not use a backend for phrase search or favorites.

Speech playback note:
Persian (fa-IR) text-to-speech voices are not bundled with iOS by default. To hear Persian playback, install an Arabic voice (for example Maged or Laila) from Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices. The app automatically falls back to an Arabic voice, which produces an approximate but understandable reading of the Persian (Perso-Arabic) script. If a Persian voice is available on your device, it will be used in preference.

The app will continue to be updated with more Iran travel phrases, local food names, audio coverage, and practical situations based on real travel use.
