First there was the super annoying now-removed energy requirement to play a puzzle. Now it’s running *several* ads per *every* puzzle. It’s no longer just ads between puzzles, which seemed fair for an unpaid version. (I assume this is their point — to pressure players to buy the non-ad version.) It can be 10 or many more for a larger 4-part puzzle! It’s ridiculously frustrating to get into a groove and then be interrupted with an ad after a handful of moves or a minute or two. There’s also a bug that causes the play screen to start in a super zoomed view that you can’t adjust, making it impossible to complete the level. Before, I’ve been able to restart the game a couple of times to resolve it. Now Stage 114, Level 2 can’t be fixed this way. Even using power-ups, it’s impossible to finish the level because most of the puzzle is out of view. I wasted a ton of power-ups trying to force this to compete. **It also seems to get slower to load all the time. **Not possible to finish Stage 114, Level 2. Other occasional levels exhibit same behavior and require a hard reboot to restart the level to be able to get a normal-sized screen to be able to play and finish. ** Purchases are unreliable (se definitely don’t pay for ad-free version…!) With the level that can’t be finished, the game is officially moot for me. Even if that were fixed, they’ve so thoroughly sucked out everything that was fun about the game that it’s time to find something else anyway. Running iOS 26.5.2 and the most recent game update ### 2/5 — Devs are trolling us now *2026-07-11* So first the devs cap us with energy per level for a while - I’m assuming they saw the negative feedback and took that away (rightfully so). However, now we have “coffee break” ads that occur so frequently there is no enjoyment left in the game. I think I’m finally going to the towel and find a new diamond art puzzle. Very unfortunate as I have been playing since the beginning, but these sneaky tactics to break us down into P2P players is exhausting. ### 2/5 — Don’t pay for any extras!! *2026-05-23* This is a fun game, but they changed things with the update. There are regular games to play & premium games. The premium games take premium tickets. When you purchase the golden ticket, it reduces the time it takes to get another premium ticket to 1 hour. After the update, it’s now 2 hours. The coin cost to purchase premium tickets went from 900 coins for 1 ticket to 1900 for 1 ticket. There was no notice of change. Had I known this game was going to do a bate & switch, I never would’ve played. ### 1/5 — Won’t work *2026-03-22* I LOVE this game, but recently updated it and now it’s showing me I have a power up that I have to accept but it literally will not let me accept it so I can’t even play anymore! **Developer response:** We are very sorry that you are experiencing this problem. But the game freezes so often that it is becoming almost impossible to play. Now you have to continuously purchase energy to be able to play more than 3-5 min. Greed wrecks another game ### 1/5 — Game Energy *2026-06-17* I really enjoyed this game until the recent update. Prior to the update there was an energy requirement only to start a level, once you got in the level it didn’t consume any additional energy. Now, in addition to requiring energy to start a level, every move you make in the game requires energy as well. I can’t even finish one level of the game prior to running out of energy. What was once a really enjoyable game that I spent money in is now simply a waste of time and money - I’m extremely disappointed in the change ### 1/5 — Greedy *2026-06-13* I loved playing this game until the last update. It cost 20 charges to do a level now it cost a charge per move and you cannot get through the puzzle without using helpful tools. I had 6500 coins and went to buy 10 tickets and suddenly i only had 4700. STOP STEALING MY COINS that I earn!! Also, level 305 only allows 1 gems to be moved at a time. We appreciate your feedback and patience! ### 1/5 — NOT FOR SENIORS *2026-05-08* This type of game is fun but this one is NOT for us old seniors.1- I could not enlarge the game by swiping fingers so the size is permanent. 2-some of the colors R VERY close to the same shade, so they R hard to tell apart. 3-With the black color, once removed from their spot, it is still black. So without enlarging the game u can not tell if the spot is full or empty. By the time I finished level 1, I had a terrible headache by straining my eyes to see the game. Too many diamond games out there and u can enlarge them all with your fingers. I know cause I have them all. This game I can not play again. Too much strain in my eyes. And now the freezing and lagging makes it impossible to play. You select gems and tap where you want them to go and the game freezes and lags. I hope they remove the latest game changes and fix the lagging issue or I will have to delete it because I can’t even play it. After the latest update, opening the game automatically triggers the Art Journey tutorial. However, I can't claim the Level 1 reward, and the game completely freezes on that screen. I found myself having gotten through the search of the gems in just a couple days (thinking there were many levels of it) and found out I’d done them all. I also went through the game where there are four different scenes (a circus, basketball game and two others) and there are a specific amount of days to get it done. I blew through it in 3 or 4 days. I then couldn’t reach the daily goals because there was nothing left for me to do or accomplish. Just a cash grab for us to have to buy coins in order to play the game for more than 20 minutes. I’ll stick with Brilliant Sort. ### 3/5 — Would be 5 star but… *2026-05-06* Perhaps writing a review will get a response from this developer who seems to not respond to emails. Earlier in April, I purchased the pass twice shame on me, but I thought I made a mistake when I purchased the VIP pass so I purchased it again and it never activated hence the first email which I never did get a response so the developer still owes me for two passes The second email was a bunch of feedback about the latest update that was released, which was all well and good, except that the daily task were not updated as well so you are not able to complete your daily task in it’s entirety because those were not updated as well So to fellow players a heads up on this: spending 280 event energy is not going to be possible because you only get two events one expires in a week another one in two weeks if you’re lucky. And if you complete all the mini games, you won’t be able to complete the task because you have to wait for the timer to reset which takes about two weeks. Can’t complete the rewarded ads task because with the new update that came out with the spin wheel which now you can’t watch 15 rewarded ads and forget about watching 15 free ads because can’t do that either because the eight hour timer to spin the wheel, but that doesn’t count anyway. And this is a big one for me. I lost all of my art journey rewards because I missed one day of logging in there really should be a countdown timer on the main screen instead of having to go in to the event to see what the timer is to make sure you claim your rewards like all other apps, so no confirmation window to say that the event ended here your rewards so I lost all my rewards and the task to claim 50 art journey rewards 60 art journey rewards or whatever it is it only possible if you buy the VIP pass which circles me back to the beginning of my review where you still owe me for passes that were purchased the beginning of April that I never got a response back from support and I’m very hesitant to purchase anything else because of this issue so needless to say, I may just remove your app because of the lack of support I have received from you and just play Brilliant Sort because at least from them I get a response **Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate it. ### 3/5 — this would be 5 stars before recent update *2026-04-03* recent update was not good. it removes the ability to add shelves for coins, which previously was a strong point for this game over competitors like brilliant sort, since the coin economy seemed pretty good. i will delete this soon because in one update you completely changed how the game works and feels. previously would have called this game a gem but now i would call it just another heartbreakingly flawed experience. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback—we completely understand your concern. But playing casually for two-ish months I’ve notice they just keep cycling the same events. They’ll be on a timer for when they end and just come back a week later.
