Can’t cancel them. Clicking on the cross leads to all sorts of dodgy websites. Avoid until this is sorted! ### 2/5 — ★★☆☆☆ – Gute Ansätze, aber leider mit deutlichen Schwächen *2026-04-15* Die Ships25 App bietet grundsätzlich einige interessante Funktionen für Schiffsbegeisterte. Besonders positiv sind die aktuelle Positionsanzeige, die Darstellung vergangener Routen sowie Zeitpläne. Auch das Anlegen von Favoriten und zusätzliche Informationen zu Schiffen, Häfen und Routen sind hilfreich und machen die App zunächst attraktiv. Leider überwiegen im Alltag jedoch die Schwächen deutlich. Das größte Problem ist, dass die App nach der Schiffssuche nicht automatisch zurück auf die Hauptkarte springt – das macht die Nutzung unnötig umständlich. Zudem fehlt eine Vorschau zukünftiger Routen, es wird nur die vergangene Strecke angezeigt. Weitere wichtige Funktionen wie Wetterdaten oder individuelle Anpassungsmöglichkeiten der Karte sucht man ebenfalls vergeblich. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt: Es gibt keine Testversion – man muss die App direkt kaufen, ohne sie vorher ausprobieren zu können. Gerade bei den genannten Einschränkungen ist das enttäuschend. Fazit: Gute Grundidee, aber aktuell zu viele Schwächen für eine bessere Bewertung. Hier besteht definitiv noch Verbesserungsbedarf. ### 1/5 — Außer Abo nichts dahinter *2026-04-11* Zunächst musste ich sehr viele Firmen wegklicken, die ein angeblich berechtigtes Interesse an meinen Daten haben. Nur ich allein bestimme, wer berechtigt ist oder nicht. Dann wird ständig die Seite mit dem Abo Modell angezeigt. Ich möchte hier und da mal nach einem Boot schauen, dafür werde ich aber nicht ein Dauerabo abschließen. Eine Einmalzahlung für die Arbeit der Programmierung ist vollkommen berechtigt, sich aber einen Goldesel durch Abovergabe anzuschaffen?…nein, da bin ich raus. Im übrigen konnte ich nicht ein Schiff lokalisieren. Das ist mit der Zeit sehr nervig, weil man nicht zügig zur Information gelangt. Es scheint, dass dies bewusst so entwickelt wurde, damit man eine kostenpflichtige Version lädt. Für mich in der Standardversion, umständlich und zu wenig Informationen. Ich vergleiche mit flightradar24, die erheblich in der Standardversion besser ist ### 1/5 — Junk scam *2026-01-07* Was looking forward to seeing what this app could offer based on some of the reviews but it’s nothing but a piece of come-on junk. Three times I’ve tried to open it but instead of seeing the map, ads after ads keep popping up with no way to close them and get back to the app. Waste of my time and a useless scam. ### 3/5 — Good till last update *2025-11-18* I loved the app till the last update. I could follow vessels on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. It seemed to come back for a few days then the Ohio river vessels are gone again. Maybe the app is being worked on but it’s frustrating.
