We receive an email from NCL that Port time has been shortened almost 50% and one of the ports we won’t even be able to get in. This was due to fixing a part in a cruise won’t go to NCL again. When it first launched, everything was perfect and they welcomed comments and constructive criticism and corrected anything that needed attention. But those days are long gone and now Michelle, the girl who is the only one who answers questions from their contact page, is far too lazy to actually correct anything and instead will only blame the cruise line. Case in point: the itineraries for the Carnival Conquest in January 2026 she says is correct and what Carnival sent her. January 2 for 3 nights January 5 for 4 nights January 12 for 4 nights January 16 for 3 nights January 17 for 13 nights January 30 for 3 nights The problem is, she doesn’t understand that her math is wrong. There are only 4 sailings for the entire month 1/2 for 3 nights, 1/5 for 12 nights, 1/17 for 13 nights, and 1/30 for 3 nights but she would rather spend 30 minutes arguing by email and blaming Carnival instead of correcting it. ### 1/5 — No deck plans on Marcella Explorer 2 *2025-09-18, version 4.29.1* Used this when on RCL was ok no major issues, however going on a Marcella explorer2 cruise and there are no deck maps. It’s not difficult to make them available they are after all on Marcella cruises site. Other features missing that were available on RCL cruise. The excursion section is a joke some ports show no excursions yet you can book them on the cruise P&O on Iona now and the useless app shows Kristiansund as the port of call, we are in Kristiansand, different area of Norway. You can’t even show the correct port. I’ve been on tons of different cruise lines, but I will definitely go back on this one. The food was delicious so much different variety. The entertainment was off the rocks the night entertainment was more than any ship I’ve ever been on, the rooms were always clean The ship was clean, tons of stuff on board to do, Ocean cay was above and beyond the best stop I have ever been on what a beautiful ocean that’s owned by MSC I would do this cruise just to go back there, Only complaints —- The hot tubs on this ship are cold. All of them are cold. I tried everyone. I’m not the only one who stated this everybody. Said the hot tub was cold. The servers by the pool definitely will not ask you if you want something to drink you’ll have to flag them down, so for the most part you have to get up and go get your own drinks, I did tip extra so after a while they did cater to me. I do not like that you have pool towels in your room and you have to keep track of them. Bring them down to the pool bring them back to your room, as other ships I’ve been on have towel Stewart’s by the pools who hand out towels this one does not. Even after leaving the beach and our towels are soaking wet and full of sand. You have to carry them all the way back to your room, they should have a towel swap set up that will take your wet, heavy towels and give you dry ones. I would like better coffee selections, but that’s just me. They do have an espresso machines. But they cannot mimic or make any special specialty coffees. ### 5/5 — A Cruise Diary *2026-05-03, version 4.29.7* We have used Shipmate for years. When we first started I loaded all of our past cruises and now the first thing I do when I book a cruise,I put it into Shipmate. We are nearing 50 cruises and it’s always nice to look back to see the last time we were on the ship we just booked, and it gives you a lot of information on all of your upcoming cruises.
