This is a easy to use app to track your shoe miles. Very clear and functional. Very glad I found it.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2016-01-29, version 3.2.1*

This app has been a very good tool for tracking mileage and it is very simple to use!

### 5/5 — Best shoes tracker app out there

*2016-01-14, version 3.2.1*

I use this to track my shoe mileage. Simple and straightforward.

### 5/5 — Does the job.

*2015-01-02, version 2.1*

This app does exactly what it is supposed to do. You can add shoes that already have miles on them, too.

### 5/5 — Simple & Perfect

*2014-10-01, version 2.0*

This app is perfect for any runner who wants to track mileage on their shoes. It is very simple, but get the job done. Adding pictures of your shoes is a nice touch. The developer is quick to respond to emails and the reaction time to producing an update following IOS 8 was impressive. I would highly recommend this app to all runners.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2014-10-01, version 2.0*

I love the ease of this app. Great for keeping track of my multiple shoes. Switching between sneakers is easy, helpful to have photo of sneaker!
This is probably one of the most consistently used app on my phone.
Highly recommend to athletes (or anyone) that are concerned about sneaker rotation & keeping track of mileage

### 5/5 — Easy

*2014-06-05, version 1.1*

Simple and effective. Exactly what I wanted.

### 5/5 — AWEAOME🎈🎈🎈

*2014-03-26, version 1.1*

I alternate between two pairs of shoes & it is nice to be able to keep track of my miles. I love how simply & easy it is to use.

### 5/5 — Best app I've found

*2012-09-08, version 1.1*

Im a triathlete and I switch between about 5 pairs of shoes. These app is the best one out there for lodging your miles. It looks good. It's easy to use and maybe I'm a dork but it's fun to do. Please make more apps.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2012-08-25*

Super easy to use. If you use more than one pair of shoes at a time, makes it easy to switch between shoes, especially of their same model. Other app not as easy.

### 5/5 — Great for runners!

*2012-04-02, version 1.0*

This is exactly what I needed and was looking for! I will soon go from 1 training shoe to alternating 2 training shoes and a racing shoe. This is an easy way to keep track of the mileage of all my running shoes. Great interface, better than paid apps that do the same thing! Glad you made this app, I was about to use excel to track my shoe mileage haha.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2012-03-28, version 1.0*

Great app for frequent runners!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Erases Progress

*2023-10-09, version 4.6.0*

Put all the time into adding mileage on my shoes. Just to come back and be told I had not shoes. Erased all my progress.

### 1/5 — How does this work?

*2021-06-26, version 4.4.1*

I have set up my current shoe, connected to Apple Health…now what? Firstly, I entered by hand the number of kms since I started wearing the shoes (10.5). When I go back to the screen, it says 21km…? Huh? Why? Today, wearing the shoes for a long walk and when I checked again, nothing has changed. Still says 21 kms. I do not get this app.

### 3/5 — Simple, but not quite it

*2020-09-03, version 4.4.1*

All I want is a simple shoe mileage tracker than can import my run distances from Apple Health or my Apple Watch. Is that impossible? I don’t want to have to look up each run and retype the distance when it’s available...

### 4/5 — A great start!

*2023-12-04, version 5.1.3*

This is a nice little app. I’m using Apple Fitness to track workouts (recorded in a few different apps) and needed a single place to track shoe mileage. This seems to fit the bill.

The only downside is that this requires manually entering (and remembering to enter) every workout. It’d be great if it could pull workouts from Apple Fitness and create draft entries that I can then associate with a shoe. That way I can go tag a bunch at once and know I’m not missing any.

### 4/5 — Almost Perfect

*2020-03-27, version 4.1*

Finally I found a shoe tracking app that is just that. I was using Nike Run Club strictly for a shoe mileage tracker, this app just does exactly what it’s supposed to do and pretty well so far. I would like to see the addition of data sync to iCloud in case the app was deleted. With that feature, all previous data could be recovered. Definitely recommended to all runners who want to track shoe miles.

### 4/5 — Great free app!

*2015-04-04, version 2.2.1*

Works well... Doesn't crash... Allows any number of shoes with photo! Allows you to reorder shoes based in preference.
Two suggestions please:
1) add a feature to swipe left/right to change between shoes rather than going into add/edit to switch between shoes.
2) add an option to delete mileage in case you added the wrong mileage for the wrong shoes or date

### 4/5 — Would like it to sync with other apps

*2014-03-13, version 1.1*

Works well. Haven't had any glitches. I only wish it would sync with other apps such as mapmyrun or nike+.

### 4/5 — Easy to Use

*2012-03-29, version 1.0*

I like how the big green 'add distance' button is on the home screen so it's fast to enter a new run.

### 5/5 — Does the job

*2025-06-06, version 5.3.0*

Been using ShoeCycle for many years now with no problems at all. Nothing fancy it just plain works.

### 5/5 — Perfect for me!

*2024-09-18, version 5.3.0*

I love using this app to track my mileage as well as keeping track of when I should replace my shoes! It has everything I need, since I don’t bring my phone or watch with me on my runs, manually tracking is not a problem for me. If you run cross country or long distance track, you definitely should get this app!

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best Shoes Tracker

Fantastic app for tracking your running shoes

### 5/5 — The Best

This app is awesome if you care about your feet and want to track mileage. The developer is super responsive… nice job!

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2019-12-17, version 4.1*

Clean simple interface. Sometimes less truly is more and this app could not be simpler or more useful for runners. Thanks for the great app!

### 5/5 — Simple and perfect

*2019-12-04, version 4.1*

Exactly what I needed. This app makes it easy to track miles on multiple pairs of shoes.

### 5/5 — It’s simple and good

*2019-07-26, version 4.0*

It’s simple and good for tracking mileage on multiple shoes.
But please add monthly and yearly statistic mileage function.

### 5/5 — Love it - simple and effective

*2019-04-07, version 3.4.0*

Updating: just switched to an Android phone and this app isn't available. I was surprised to find only a couple shoe trackers for Android and they're not very good. For instance, I can't enter by date like I can here. It's not really critical that I track shoe mileage but I like doing it, so I love and miss your app. Please add an Android version!

Original review (still true)...

The important thing about an app like this is the efficiency of entering daily mileage. That aspect is what earns this app my 5 stars.

A while back, the developer responded to me in a nice email to say that he had made a fix based on a suggestion I had. I am impressed!

The only other issue I have found (very minor) is that the up/down toggle to change which shoes are selected doesn't work but there is another easy way to do that and I do it rarely, so it doesn't really bother me.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I want it to be

*2016-12-13, version 3.2.1*

Easily tracks mileage in multiple pairs of shoes. Great way to know when it's time to replace.

### 5/5 — Simple to use. Does exactly what it says

*2016-08-26, version 3.2.1*

I've only just started using the app but it was very simple to get it started and add the miles to my shoes. I can set a custom mile-max to my shoes because some are built to last more miles. I also really liked how I could set the 'start miles' rather than automatically starting the shoedometer at 0. This is definitely great for when you first start using the app but have already been running in a pair of shoes for a while. The app also allows you to track by date, as one rule of thumb is 1 pair of shoes will last 6 months.
