It is very easy to use, the tutorial videos are extremely helpful, and If those don't answer my questions, the customer service is phenomenal! I am able to use the app to show my clients exactly what my images will look like on their walls! And this has helped my sales SO much!!! I couldn't do IPS without this app -- it has been the best investment ever! ### 5/5 — Seriously buy it! *2015-11-28, version 3.0* Amazing app! Kicking myself for not purchasing 3 years ago when I started ips in client homes. My sales have exploded since using Shoot and Sell to show galleries on their walls. Being able to design quickly and show clients the visual is key. Clients are now thanking me for such a customized experience and spending thousands more! Proofshare is next. I have until Saturday to get really proficient at it, but I don't think that will be any problem with this app. Very intuitive and easy to use. I’m a new purchaser, so I’ve only been able to use it for client ordering sessions a few times. I can't tell you how many times I've had customers wonder how a certain photo would look in their home or office. Problem solved! Simple to use, yet powerful. The most recent update added some nice capabilities (watermark and custom sizes). One thing I would like to see is the ability to change the mat color. Also, being able to create a photo triptych with mated photos and frame would be nice. Developer is easy to reach via email or Facebook. Just got it and can already see how this will improve sales of my wedding photos like crazy! ### 5/5 — You will not regret purchasing this app! *2012-11-20, version 1.1.1* Unlike the *other* app, this app allows you to resize the canvas to any size you want. You can build your own wall displays. You can move things around, save your own displays…it's wonderful! In fact, I had a session in which the clients wanted to purchase a wall gallery and were looking at some 11x17 and 8x10s. That sale would have netted me a small amount. However, with this app…and building a small wall gallery for them, on their wall…they realized how small their original photos would have been. I turned a $250 sale into a $600 sale in about 5 minutes (and she's considering getting more). I am currently working on several more client galleries…all of which I'm sure will end in increased sales. If you sell prints to your clients, this is definitely a must-have! It will pay for itself within the first sale. Love, love, love this app! ### 5/5 — Love this app *2012-11-05, version 1.1* I have been using the photographers' wall display guides for over a year and they make selling so easy. This app is a whole other level. I used to load images to my iPad for proofing and then bring my laptop for the wall display guides. Now I can leave my computer at home and my clients love seeing their images before they decide. ### 5/5 — Love it!! *2012-09-28, version 1.0* I have been using the Wall Display guides for PSD for some time. While I thought it couldn't get any better.....it just did! In the past I would "pre-make" all of my displays with the guides, save as a jpeg, download to iPad and show the client. Not a lot of options for switching around unless sit with the clients and put them through the process of waiting while I pull up, clipping masks, etc, through PSD. NOW....it is literally a tenth of the time. To sit with the client and start integrating their different options at a drop of a dime!! Priceless! I've used it with 2 clients already and it has payed for itself 10x over. It is amazing the ease with which you can drop in their images, pick different layouts, etc. Totally my new favorite app! I cannot wait for the updates!! The one thing that does bug me though is that I have to "re-purchase" all of the stock backgrounds that I already own for PSD. I wish there was a way to get credit for already owning the majority of stock backgrounds so that we can apply them to the app without having to re-purchase. ### 5/5 — Selling Tool MUST HAVE! *2012-09-21, version 1.0* This app is amazing! It is going to change the way I am able to conduct business. I can walk into any establishment, snap a picture of the wall, and show them how my B-52 prints will look on their walls. Not only can I do that, I can FRAME it also. In the future I will have the option of Organic Bloom frames. This is very user friendly. Overall opinion...you simply can't go wrong with this product! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Was working great *2025-10-12, version 5.0.15* After updating to IOS 26 I can no longer use my own backgrounds ### 1/5 — Lost my project so not too happy *2017-08-06, version 3.3.6* First off, changing the wall color - cannot make wall white even though it looks like the circle is over the white. Just get gray. Then, the bigger issue - just saved a project and then made changes and when I went to save again, I got the spinning wheel and then got kicked out (app crashed). When I went to reopen, project was empty - no images. Worked for a half hour and that work is gone. ### 2/5 — Used to love it *2021-08-27, version 5.0.10* Used to really enjoy this app especially since it wasn’t subscription based. Sadly, no new rooms have been added in several years and decor styles have changed. It’s really only practical for large artworks, nothing small. Most of the rooms are in a light color palette which makes placing darker artwork problematic. The developers used to be responsive to email questions but not anymore. This app feels abandoned, which is a shame. ### 3/5 — useful, but I expected more. *2016-05-12, version 3.3* It's a useful app, but I expected more for $75. I bought the bundle with ProofShare. The two don't connect, so photos selected in ProofShare aren't accessible in Shoot & Sell. Instead, I have to have a list in front of me. The provided templates are no-hum, but you can download others. The good ones cost extra, but not worth the extra money. I provided templates are nice to use, but you can't edit them. You can't rearrange or change the sizes of the photos. If you want something slightly different, you have to create a gallery from scratch. Also, it says it is brandable, but only allows you to add your logo and select from three color schemes, all of which have a brown hue to them. I love the fact that it works without wifi. That is a bonus. ### 3/5 — Great Concept But.... *2012-09-29, version 1.0* I would love to give this app a 5 star rating but I found bugs. I've been wanting this for a while and needed because a customer wanted a gallery cluster so I bought it hoping that it would help but I found problems with rotating clusters. It wouldn't allow to save the project or email. I found a workaround and submited the issue to support and haven't received an acknowledgement of my issue. Hope they fix the issues they have because it is a great concept. Still needs some work though :( ### 4/5 — Needed this so long ago,,, *2013-12-07, version 2.1* Just got this and I am so thrilled to show it to my client tomorrow. I compared this a lot to the other competitor, and went with this one. I am so glad that it had the organic bloom frames and other basic frames. It is easy to navigate!! Which was my number one priority. However , it is a bummer tho that the additional wall templates are $39.00 as an add on.. That is a little pricy if you ask me... You can also fully customize the rooms provided by changing the colors of those so your photos pop even more. This app has definitely helped me sell more wall displays than I was before. Also, I love being able to use a client’s actual room. I also love that you can export the templates you're using and email them.
